  They have this in the Elder Scrolls Online. The original Quake had npcs that were hostile to each other as well. No complicated ecology needed. Just have them interact in some way.

  I would like to see some kind of gathering progression system where some animals would need higher gathering skill level to get more and/or better resources from them. Perhaps this gathering skill would be called skinning and the actual skinning needs a proper skinning knife as well. Also getting better with skinning and with a specific animals could be nice feature. That would explain why you get at first zero or just one rabit leg, and later when you are getting better you mess less with the skinning part and you have a chance to get more. I would also like to say that skinning a rabbit is a very different thing than skinning a bear and that shoud be taken account somehow.

  I can't really vote on this poll as there is no clear cut answer for me with the options provided. I like rpg and immersion and I like when my choices matter. SWTOR has done that option for me the best of any game I have played. I also like sandboxes and exploring. I was kind of hoping for both the options in this game lol.

  @Jetah Indeed! Many ninjas were commoners that had to make due with all sorts of weapons, such as farming tools! It allowed them to easily carry them as they're not "real weapons"

  I don't see the appeal of soul-bound gear at all, in any variation, including time-limited blessed gear or not being able to equip items looted from other people. One of the important things in losing gear is that it keeps the economy running, allowing gatherers, refiners and crafters to keep doing their activity at any tier. Eventually, the markets will be flooded with items and the devs will have to find ways of getting rid of them faster. The most common solution in this regard, which will probably be implemented by Fractured quite early is a chance per item to get trashed when the player dies. Having accessible blessed gear means that instead of losing 3 expensive weapons and chestpieces in a big zvz, players only lose one. It just goes against the main idea of keeping the economy healthy. PS: If the blessed gear is not accessible enough to buy it in a situation in which you'd die with expensive stuff multiple times, then there's no point in using them.

  Greetings. If developers (and like-minded fellow players) are reading, below I wish to suggest three very important game aspects: 1- I think I speak on behalf of every support main when I humbly ask you to give us am effective support/healer spell collection. Seeing Restoration and Abjuration schools in the spotlight was quite satisfying. We would love to have decent talents, support spells and debuffs, that will make us feel accomplished when used correctly. As well as making support characters sought after and celebrated. 2- PvM oriented playerbase would rejoice if there were very challenging open world bosses that require several players to handle (raid style). This would promote both teamplay and social (even political) bonds to be formed. We would love to face extremely difficult bosses which have hard mechanics that punish us if we do not perform well; that require correct timing and magic school usage, as well as gear choices. This would make us feel more proud with our skills and efforts. It is as good a reward as the high tier items dropped by those bosses. Please do not make us fight a puny boss that goes down in 30 seconds. 3- For the crafting focused players, please consider sprinkling a few dozen, random-area-spawn, difficult minibosses which drop rare materials/items. This would not only encourage people to explore the map fully and seek out those special monsters and grind, it would also create an incentive for people to gang up on those minibosses to be able to obtain those rare materials, and further advance their crafting skills and expand their repertoire. If these have already been decided upon, and are works in progress, I praise you. If not, please consider these aspects so as to give us some combat challenges, and a compelling reason to spend more time and serious effort on building our characters. Thank you for reading.

  Tutorial quests need more details They're placeholders to make sure the quest system is working on a basic level. The main issue with them right now is that the map markers display underneath the map border and cut off at its fringe, so it's hard to see where you need to go if it's too far away. Will-o-whisp looking creatures unaffected by any attacks, magic or weapon. The Wisps are a gimmick enemy. They have an extremely high evasion, so regular attacks with any weapon (including magic wand) will always miss. In addition, they are virtually immune to all damage except magic. Also, as soon as they see you, they'll put on a magic shield that makes them immune to magic too. You have to wait for it to wear off before whaling on them with high-damage magic skills. It's advised to pick up Magic Mithilth and the skills from goblin fire shamans before you go after Wisps. I presume in the final game, there will be more biome variety, so you won't be forced to run through biomes full of enemies you literally cannot damage. Should be capability to rotate items like crafting stations and fireplaces You can, but only while first placing them. Unlockable skills you already have should not be question marked Of course they should. Your character doesn't know that enemy has that move. Key mapping for alternate control configurations needs to be added. Some controls are not intuitive, like releasing your cart. While in combat, should not be looting corpses All three things will be addressed by the next test in June.

  I'd also like to point out that mage staves were also just implemented for this testing phase. They probably wanted to get the item out first and then smooth it out later.

  Hi @Guaca, From your feedback I guess you are new also to the forum and did not took a look in all the discussion and other player feedback for the current and other alpha testings. Well, just to save you a bit of time, all the points you indicated will be gradually be covered in the future developments phases. For the Alpha 2 - Test 3 coming in June they plan to deploy player cities which will considerably populate the maps and created many points of interest. The bestiary is not complete, constructions decaying will be coming in the future iterations of player cities and constructions, and many more things. All that said, don't worry they are just in alpha testing, there is still more than one year worth of development. In the mean time, you may want to go on and read all the Design Journals at least. Maybe watch some of the Q&A streams, etc. Ciao.

  @Razvan yea i took the bonuses into consideration but humans can have 3 stats at 18 and the other 3 at 10 so with talent perks they will be able to possibly 3 stats at 20 with none under 10 (i want to play demon the most or maybe criminal human we will see lol) also does perceptions crit values and accuracy work with magical spells? i thought it would be a good stat so i wouldn't be as vulnerable to stealth attacks but in a group setting I think the little bit of survivability from con will be helpful ( not sure what you meant by DD maybe Blood Demon? ) a concept i have been thinking about is making human Assasin with 18 dex 18 per 15 int 15 cha 10 str 10 con scour the lands for the best skills/magic for murdering the unaware get a house where the poison grows then Achieve ninja status

  @Gothix I'm pretty much the same! Blocking spammers is the only real reason I block people, for the same reasons - it prevents you from seeing chat. And quite frankly, I don't need to see "Leerooooooooooooy Jenkiiiiiiiiins" for several years, or "Did somebody say [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]" - or any other flavor of the month memes that are out. It's also not a good coping mechanism; blocking anyone for disagreeing with you or getting into an argument doesn't build social skills either - which can be a big part of an MMORPG!

  I feel like characters do not necessarily learn skills at a particular percent of Knowledge in the bestiary. For instance, I just learned Bash from Black Bear at 2 bears / 10%, before I even finished the tutorial quest that seemed to expect me to kill at least 5 which I presume is 25%. I seem to recall it taking 5+ bears on the previous character. It seems more like killing a creature in the Bestiary has a chance to teach you a skill based on your Knowledge % - the higher it is, the more likely you'll learn the skill on the next kill. Probably if the Bestiary entry is 100%, that means you'll always learn on the next kill (or on the kill that gets you to 100%.) My current character has 10 INT, the previous had 6. It's entirely possible that INT influences Knowledge percent gains and/or the rate of learning skills.

  Plan is for each world to have three continents. We've only got one continent from one world so far, and many points of interest are incomplete. So yeah. A bit early for theorycrafting just yet.

I mean, using the second definition, the term "professional studio" doesn't make any sense as being the opposite of "indie".
