I don't think things need to be "fixed" as a lot is not implemented yet. There is a lot of trolling going on in chat, but there are also good people giving good advice. You just have to sift through the nonsense as usual. I hope you stick it out. It's been a lot of fun.
The one thing I’d like to see in the store that wasn’t available to choose is the features of old packages in an à la cart fashion. Even if we had to pay substantially more for something, there may be specific features people want without wanting all the rest of certain packages. Of course certain things should NOT be available in this way, but other things well could be.

I don't know if it's a bug or working as intended but I know they are aware of it. Right now, only developer placed stone roads give movement buff. For now, in town it's just for city planning and aesthetics.

As it's only alpha 2 test 1 I don't think that sort of thing is a top priority. When the game launches the dynamics of the community will make something like that unlikely, but I think an easy fix is a suicide command to kill yourself if you get stuck somewhere or in a situation like that.
I heard about this. it's happened to more than one person. make fences for your plot and block off your own door. shouldn't need more than three fences. you can also use your crafting table and stuff since you can move that stuff whenever you like. then other people can't leave stuff in front of your door.

My number one all time favorite is anime series is Cowboy Bebop. Now I'm a sub purist, but I must recommend that you watch Bebop in English. The English voice acting is a true gem, an exception to the rule.
