I had similar idea for making a guild with lots of Angels, start off together as demons and help players who want to make the change from demon to Angel.
I just haven't had much time to get it all thought out and find people who are keen on the idea.
Was just curious as to the guild he wants to make... Abomination guild sounds sick though.
I take it since you say beastmen only you plan on making a guild of Abominations?
Cool idea, I know that games like tree of savior have something like that and you can even leave and log off and the stall will remain open.
We will have to wait and see how trading is handled, I hope there isn't a huge auction house... It doesn't make sense if the game is trying to be real about how stuff like that work.
Mailing large amounts of wood to yourself or getting items from far... Since we already see moving certain supplies is slow and not a easy process.
We are celebrating mothers day today here in South Africa... And think most of the world also does the second Sunday of May.
Not sure how many mothers follow fractured... But wish all those on here a great day with their mothers!

And split beastmen into 4 subraces

So in total 6 base races
Or 11 if you count sub races
Or 16 if the sub races also get different angels and abominations
But if we talking strictly how many races I say the number is 6... Demons are a race, they just have 3 types. So count 1 not 3
@Meiki but they will still just be angel and abomination... Not 3 new races for demon... One new race wirh 3 new racials.
I am sure there can be ancient/archaeic languages... Learning more can unlock quests or information on hidden areas.
It will require a lot of writing and the devs said that the game doesn't have a huge lore base at the moment because they are a small team.
I guess in time if the team grows there might be more lore and stuff like this added.
Hello... Most people I see post on the daily message group if they just want to get their daily post. (I do as well if I am busy and can't sit and think and type a long message)
But you will level it faster if you actually add some posts that contribute to the game and spreading information.
@VyrVandalous I like the idea of more races being added in the future... Obviously balancing and such things will be a major point to look at.
But surely crafting should be open to anyone... With humans and their body upgrades they will probably be best crafter like someone mentioned here, also being in Central planet makes them initial best choice.
However I don't think that the classic races like elf, orc or dwarf need to be added... These races are from many games and lore. Why have the same thing again?
They can make any type of race they want, why do the same as everyone...
I think what could be cool later is perhaps more quests to change your initial race to something else. At the moment we have:
Human to Lich
Beastmen to Abomination (evil alignment change)
Demon to Angel (good alignment change)
6 races already in the game! (11 if you count subraces)

That is a great idea... I agree that perhaps it should be something to implement once the taming is achieved and the game is doing well.
I fondly recall final fantasy 7.... Where you had to go out and hunt chocobos.
Once you caught them in battle you could bring them back and breed them.... They were used in races in the gambling casino town.... And you could breed different types, one that could run on water.... And they had different colours.
It was a small part of the game. But it added something small and fun.
Getting that different coloured chocobos was epic... Back when you played in front of the family TV
I am happy to hear the game is going to be accessible to gamers that might not have the most insane PCs...
