Maybe if there are winds (from the oceans) then they can hover.

@nelchael said in I don't get the abilities: @gothix Even the rank 1 abilities probably won't be random, since a few days after alpha comes out, someone will almost certainly make a thread with a list of all the different abilities and their requirements. Then there will be wikis and such. Some of them could be random though. For example 5% chance after killing a striped tiger to learn ability X. It's always from that particular tiger, but not every time you kill it. We will see.
