Would be a nice implementation far into the future but not a priority they should work on any time soon.
I'd be down to have livestock on my land to generate income though.

It's hard to keep spying in check with this system.
For realm-based games like Camelot Unchained, they lock the account to a specific realm but since Fractured doesn't work like that, it's going to be interesting to see how developers handle it.
Perhaps they may even encourage that type of behavior, who knows.
It wouldn't hurt to have the option but it's silly to have that many characters in a game of this nature.
Did we get confirmation that the lower image is Babilis?
Looks sweet! I hope all those structures and landscapes will be fully interactive!
Interesting to know the numbers.
I would have thought the majority of your points would come from a lot of referrals. I guess it's just a lot of dedication to visiting this site everyday.
So the consensus is "we don't know at this point" but ultimately I don't think the answer will matter in the larger scheme of things until we have historical events in the lore to give a frame of reference.
These gods we can pick from are minor gods in my eyes, not all-powerful gods capable of doing everything.
Tends to happen with polytheistic rosters. They get assigned their own domain.
Just because you choose to follow one, doesn't mean you don't believe in another god. It just means your values don't align with theirs. In that sense, it's more of a philosophical question of who you choose to follow, given that its accepted that these gods exist in the game, there's no need for faith. It's just a fact.
There is no blind faith. Following a god will give you tangible benefits and boons in this game, and that's where I draw the line with real world religion, it's based on gospel, old books and faith. There is no real tangible connection.
I like your optimism, but it's still too early to tell.
I've seen countless games around this phase do well with constant developer feedback and updates but then fizzle out as it comes close to the finish line.
If you want an example of an existing game with a comparable model, look at Guild Wars 2.
Not really. It's a bit more complex than that to me. But if you want to simplify it, sure.
There is no religion in this game.
Gods exist in fractured, period. It's part of the world-building. You can choose to align yourself with one of them or you don't.
Whether you choose to not get any of the benefits that this features offers is entirely up to you.
@Specter Really? I know the map is fairly large, but it's hard for me to imagine there were over two thousand plots laid throughout the landscape.
Impressive.
Makes me wonder how many plots were available in total during this alpha.
Feel like the people starting this type of discussion already are jumping the gun and making assumptions based conjecture.
The game is still extremely early in development. I'm sure the development team has the foresight to think of how to proceed in the case of attracting more players but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Quick note, just want to mention this is only one of many islands in one of the worlds you start in.
Unique forum title sounds more like an incentive than a punishment.
Hm...
