@Althalus There's not much to glean from any gameplay right now, as there's very limited things you could do in the current Alpha.

Any variety of footage you can obtain right now will be very similar.

I suspect a lot of these assets are just placeholders.

They said themselves that Alpha I was purely to test the foundation of the game with resource gathering, crafting, claiming land and building a basic house structure.

I encountered a lot of small bugs in the game while playing, but it seems like they are already aware of most, if not all of them.

Glad to have you on board! I'm happy the Fractured team is looking ahead and already hired a community manager.

This type of foresight shows promise.

Think of your access to the game more as you getting a chance to help the developers test out the game at an earlier stage, not as a chance for you to have a good time.
It is alpha, after all.

I think the developers are still doing contests to allow access every now and then, perhaps encourage your friend to participate in those.

You're projecting, mate. I'm not complaining, as I could care less if this sub-forum exists or not. I'm simply making a matter-of-fact statement of my observation. I did look through the posts here. The majority are, in fact, just a single sentence introduction with a slew of one-worded "welcome!" responses.

Also, I have no idea why you responded so defensively. I admit my first post was unnecessarily standoffish, but I was not personally attacking anyone. Ultimately I'm here to become a contributing member of the discussions.

I made my account before forums existed. Only recently checked back because the game is going public in a few days.

Literally here to get my first post unlocked for the Foundation.

No meaningful discussion are spawned from this sub-forum. Seems to be here for lazy people to farm the daily posts by dropping a simple welcome to new threads.

Am I being cynical? Prove me wrong.
