@daz I would like an armored T-rex that eats players in one bite, and shits them out later to furtilize my farms
And is it stealing if I happen to find weapons and armor on my farms and I take them?

@torrenttalon said in Question about being a game tester:
i'm sorry but you can only demand so much and tbh the more times they wipe the more consistent and reliable the game will be with each optimisation patch, tbh you should be recording/logging all gameplay as you test anyway, so there is no need to 'recreate' a bug/glitch as you say, tbh this just screams of lazy testing.
I think you misunderstood. If I find a bug at build 0.1234, then If there is a new build of the game, 0,1235, I need to repeat the bug to see if it is gone, right? So my problem was I need to grind for two days before I could repeat it again. I've had examples of bugs I found, that would get solved, and reapeared 3 builds later. So the work kinda builds up the more bugs you find.
After seeing the first gameplay video I made a suggestion to add a sprint ability to the game linked to endurence bar or energy bar. Here is the tread about sprint: https://forum.fracturedmmo.com/topic/1686/gameplay-suggestion-after-seeing-vid?page=1
Now that player collision is confirmed in the latest Q&A I would like to suggest to add to combat that you do increased dmg if you attack someone from the back (and little increased dmg if you attack from the rear).
If you cc someone then to get the most out of the cc you would prefer to move around your target (player collision prefent to to move through your target) to get max damage. To get there quick you probably use sprint to get there asap.
This will add more skill to the gameplay.

@benseine I don't mind this at all. Sure you could obtain a weapon of legend but if you are not skilled enough it won't allow you to control it.
Link didn't start the game with the master sword otherwise you would have nothing to aspire to. I want that weapon of legend to take a long time and be very difficult that way when people see you they are in awe.
This is my biggest point for being careful with cash shop, because one you release item skins this fails to be relevant and instead of playing and culminating need to play, you will lose interest because everything will just be superficial.
I don't think that will go very well in a sandbox game like Fractured. Because it will take a very long time to obtain it, then I come along and kill you in 2 minutes time and take it. I am not skilled enough to use it myself, so I will just hang it over the fireplace in my crafted house Not really how it would go in Link, right?
@jetah I agree that it doesn't go well with a sandbox. Maybe the basic guilds should have it like they described, but guilds can unlock the abilities to add other races or alignments through devine quests, big ones that are a guild effort, like making a shrine to a specific god in your guild settlement.
@oneilos said in What's about "No grinding" system:
@finland It could be very cool but need to see it to believe.
With all the releases in the last decade it's always wait and see if they can deliver. Agree! But I've been following this game for months now and it looks like one of the best idea's I've seen in years. Yes a new character has a chance to defeat a veteran (build and gear is situational). It's not like in BDO where all your attacks miss because your target has higher tier gear then you.
They also have a solid and transparent plan, unlike Bless Online for example where I keep checking the small letters for something like "if you buy our game we will totaly screw you over"

bandit has x but only drops x/4. if your luck is good they may drop x/2.
That is also not realistic.
You kill the bandit, you look at his pocket and you take all that he has. Why the hell would you take only half?
(I'm talking only from the realism perspective here.)
About hiding stuff...
humans have steampunk tech -> metal detectors
demons just rip your whole body apart and check every part
beast men... will not even steal cause they are good, so np there as wellwhat if half of his money isn't in his pockets! What if half of his money is hidden by a spell or in his shoes or hat or hair or 'prison pocket'. Who's to say the armor doesn't have hiding places.
I really shouldn't tell you where else to look, that should be obvious.
Maybe part of exploring for the knowledge system is to look where the sun doesn't shine. If you don't try it you never know
@gothix it's confirmed Tartaros will have the same GvG content as Syndesia. On top of that demons can join eclipses to pillage and plunder Syndesia.
No tank 'n spank bosses in dungeons plz. But bossfights that require some planning and teamplay.
It is possible to move resources from one planet to another and trade them
@gothix epidemics in MMO is bad idea I make more account to spread disceases on other planets on purpose before invading
Edit: I spread epidemic everywhere before I go on holiday so I miss less action
@mehwar all payment options for kickstarter are mentioned here:
*You can use a debit or credit card associated with Visa, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, or American Express. Discover and JCB cards are currently only accepted for US-based projects.
We do not currently accept Maestro or Visa Electron cards. If using a pre-paid credit card, please make sure that the card has a value of at least $1 more than your pledge amount.*
I will make sure nobody talks ill over PKers and I look out for them. So I am my world protector
On a (not so) side note, we’ve been suggested by Kickstarter that starting a campaign the week before E3 is not a great idea – fair point. The launch has therefore been postponed to the end of June – exact date to be announced!
I feel a bit like throwing oil on a hot plate... But here is a good example of carebears vs pk/gankers:
Conan Exile had huuuuuge queues on all pvp servers shortly after launch. Funcom changes a some PvE servers to PvP servers and "carebears" that got ganked because of it drown Conan Exiles in bad reviews on Steam.... Jeeeez, DS don't listen to carebears. They are small part of community but are very "vocal"
Here is whole story: http://massivelyop.com/2018/05/10/ouch-conan-exiles-players-are-pretty-pissed-off-about-funcoms-pve-conflict-server-switcharoo/
@raxzon there are several spotlights on the official website with lots of info about the game. There will be a spotlight about settlements and building. I'm sure that spotlight will awnser all your questions. So keep an eye out for news on the website.
@finland yes, so they should stick to those save mmo's and not whine so much to turn other/different mmo's into save games too. That is my biggest problem with them.
@muker dude, stick to the Russian subforum
