    • RE: Importance of attributes triggering repetition?

You already can sit at a campfire and use the rest ability to swap all your skills. If you can also swap your attributes, what need is there to ever create a 2nd character? I got six character slots in my kickstarter package... and I plan to use them in the long run.

I like tanking for example. I will have one tank with max Strength and Constitution. And I will have another tank with those stats a bit lowered, but with higher intelligence to have magical defences. I'm looking forward to being a tank specialist so to speak.

The ability to be a full healer, and then swap to full tank or dps seems so lame to me. Like the casual cater to all mmo crap I'm trying to avoid everywhere...

Why get burned out if a new character can still beat a old character since there are no power gaps? Rerolling characters is very common in mmorpgs anyway

But for those that worry about it, just ask a veteran player ingame, on forum or on Discord before finalizing your attributes.

@gothix said in Infinite progression or hit the wall progression?:

Shadow demons can climb stealthy over the walls and open the gates from inside.

IKShadow will order all of us to make a shadow demon alt to bring to every siege 😂

Yeah that summon hordes of minions to dig under walls to make them collapse, and ofc fire to burn towers and gates.

@rockarmy I'm sure demons will have other ways to siege a town. They are demons 😈

    • RE: Infinite progression or hit the wall progression?

@rockarmy no, the same town conquests / sieges are on Tartaros. No Pvp sieges on Arboreus, but maybe something else can be a substitutie there. Some Pve content.

    • RE: Pets & Mounts

I would like to see mounts that are part of the survival machanics ingame!

For example mounts that can't survive on foreign planets, but are extra suitable for their home planet. Like Comodo Dragon style mounts for Tartaros, and Giant Moose mounts for Arboreus.

Humans will have mounts that are extra suited for foreign planets, but have other drawback vs regular horses. Like camels for deserts on Tartaros or Frisian horses for Arboreus.

Hope they also add some horizontal progression to building/crafting. Like new city styles/designs/alternate city defenses or siege weapons. Preferrebly only unlocked by participating in sieges/town conquest alot. That will keep us busy alot. Maybe something like juggernaut transport wagons similar to EVE Online capital ships. Takes years to learn how to fly them and build them. That would be a juicy carrot, right? 😁

@grofire yes you should know that you are in danger. But you shouldn't be able to log off quickly and port back to home planet that way.

ArcheAge had housing in the open world. You could get ganked on the plot when farming, but not inside your own house. The inside of your house was save if you closed the door. I bet Fractured will be similar.

    • RE: Switching Characters

@grofire No you misunderstood. I will gank with two demon characters/alts/accounts on Tartaros. So I can log off there where I want. I was talking about the poor beastmen/humans that come to Tartaros for pve to collect resources. If they log off using a 30 second timer, they are ported back to their home planet. I suggest resources are dropped on the ground from your inventory when you log off instead of travelling back. Otherwise logging off will just be used as fasttravel/teleportation.
