      I think that at this point this discussion has run its course. We are now discussing semantics. It is clear that we all have a different concept of what a "vertical progression" is, so trying to discuss how much of that is good for the game is fruitless. Thanks for the discussion, I'll see myself out.

      @spoletta Oh interesting i actually didnt know that. Thank you for sharing. I am eager to see how it all levels out. I hope they shy away from the random dropped item idea as well. It just reminds me of every other mmo's response which i think is a weak one. Have a good weekend!

If the Bounty on the PKer also increases for each Kill close to exponential, it should realy draft in the Bounty Hunters, since theyd be both able to locate and gain quite a lot from said Bounty. Also I'm very sorry for any misspellings and or gramatical errors, as one can easily guess, I'm no nativ speaker Now have a good one

      Why the call out to me? I am confused. Also finding me in game is easy as I regularly announce where i'm doing trades (and for which town) so why make it into a challange?

God knows being popular and being right are not the same thing. I wonder whether any of the replies to your post caused you to feel any differently? There's SO MUCH going on in the Fractured world already and we don't even have the other planets & toonspecies yet! My personal experience is that my little toons find lots to do without even leaving town I get the crops watered, harvested, and bagged.... do some crafting/enchanting to upgrade my gear... look around for folks to go adventuring with.... travel to the place where the supplies or mobs we need are... hours go by way too quickly. As far as skills & talent points go, my experience is that the starter skills for my fighter toon work as well as most of the skills I'd kill mobs for, tbh. The fighter toons need good equipment more than extra skills. Talent points for STR and CON buffs are where I focus, but again, I haven't needed to max anything to be viable so far. There's no squishiness to be overcome, as in most rpg for new PCs, so grinding xp to level isn't a thing. It may be that grinding xp to level is your jam. Nothing wrong w that, but if so Fractured might not be your game. I really hope you'll play the next few alphas to see whether developments head in a good direction for you.

      @FLeaLoD Good conversations on this for sure. I do think there is more of a creative resolution to this conversation which could easily be that there is a flat tax gold fee for crafting outside of major cities, and or a reduction of smelters for example on out of city parcels. I think straight up limiting what you can produce in your house due to a lack of leveling in a city just doesnt make a lot of sense. Or maybe housing outside of city limits is charged a fee that can be delivered to the govenor of the area. Just a few ideas. Anyway good think banter.
