      I do not believe so. If this game is an isometric MMORPG, I highly doubt there will be a fog of war because it would probably tick off at least 25% of the people playing it. Needless for a MMORPG as it simply complicates the game for all the wrong reasons. Enhances stuff like assassin classes (I know there are no classes, but lets just say someone who built their character for an assassination archetype. This doesn't exist in a RTS game mode in the sense that if you die it means you lose the whole match, not a single character) Hence, fog of wars add strategy and depth to RTS, but only adds annoyance and unfairness to a RPG.

      exactly, I wanted someone to freaking point this out because this means that beastmen will also have mounts right? What is the point of giving a beastmen a mount if they don't have a use for them?

      I think towns/settlements are probably restricted to certain housing spaces. If they were to implement a system that could place structures all over the place, they would definitely have a reason and a solution.

      @lehuan5062 Honestly, I think a large part will depend on beastmen's lore in the future, but the simple solution is that beastmen will ride mounts too (no matter how awkward it might look, or mounts can indeed come from different races. I doubt you'll ever mount a human though (issues with the law)).

      @kralith Sandbox does not imply housing area is an "all go". Take Archeage for an example. It is definitely a sandbox MMORPG. Housing can be placed anywhere in anyway as long as it is a housing space. Sandbox does not mean you can build a house in the very middle of the most populated town square just because you want it to. It is like saying you want to build your house inside Albion online's town and charge anyone who passes by a 1 million fee.

      edit: wow what the I'm rank 38?!?! I don't even do all the quests nor are any of my friends interested in a game so early in its development process there hasn't even been an alpha test yet (maybe that is why I'm even in the top 100s).

      Problem with too much actual "friendly fire" is AoE mechanics. The average gamer who have no clue wtf they're talking about thinks this just adds nice level of complexity to the game which it doesn't really in an ARPG. This company already looks like a conglomeration of too many ideas. Add an actual FF and this game might as well discourage anything more than duo/solo play or just throw those crappy large AoE spells out the window.

      If you like exploring I believe the knowledge system will reward you. I think this is a potential charm for solo players as you can play any time you want to explore the world at your own pace.

      @gothix I'm sure he is talking about logs of lost equipment/battle logs like you suggested in the second half of your post. The only thing I would like to correct is the difficulty of implementation. It is fairly easy to implement considering there WILL already be a log recording such events, so it is only a choice on the side of the developers to show it to the players.
