      @jairone I still had a blast playing the game after the initial wave of bot bans and bug fixes. I did end up paying a bit for some costumes I like but honestly the game was much easier if you bought patron (so pretty much a subscription based game imo). Fractured is a b2p, so might appeal to more people these days as keeping up a subscription can suck a lot.

      Take Archeage's commerce/trade for an example if you've ever played it (since it works pretty accurately). It is obviously easier and quicker to trade something from one coastal town to another, but you get much more rewards for trading something inland to another continent. Why?

      Simply because it is harder to get something inland to another continent. The harder it is, the scarcer the resource is, so the higher the price. It works just like real trading back in the days. If you want land on coastal regions, then obviously you get an advantage on the location of the trading hub, but there might be resources where you CAN'T obtain on the coastal regions but are highly demanded elsewhere. Those items inland can make far better cash for a longer trip.

      Basically, if the game is well made, both coastal and inland regions should have their own advantage. Players should just seek to find a location that suits their trading styles.

      I have no idea why you're so angry when people disagree with your thread. I personally think a good trade system is one where they allow players to dictate the economy, not something you do with NPC or some crap that lets you get better simply because you do more trade. Simply put the auction house tax at 5~10% (a low enough amount) and let people trade whatever they want. THAT is true trade I appreciate as an economist, not some crap you automatically get better as you do more of it. No. You can lose money even as a very experienced person in a stock market. What trade helps with is the growth of the player as a person, not a flimsy game character that will automatically be BETTER than someone else. You have to understand that even the lowest of the low has a chance at trading as long as they know what they're doing. This is how you hear stories about people trading a pin into a house or a pen into a car.
      So basically I'm saying don't dumb down trading into a crap system that the devs have to waste their time on. We don't need a bunch of garbage rules because that is not how the free market works.

      I am going to tell you right now combat will be nothing like GW2 and because of the nature of the game I don't think crafting system will work like Vanguard either. Furthermore, some systems that you might think is "perfect" will actually not work well when they're mashed together because one system always affects another. We don't know anything about "events" yet as the game still has too many things to work on. As for unique creature design for FFXIV I think FFXIV is garbage so anything will beat that crap. Loot tables from dungeons is kind of needed because there HAS to be certain things that can be obtained. I mean who the f would play a game where sticks drop from hardest boss of the game or a legendary god tier master sword from the crap dungeon? Games aren't like anime where you're the MC and some stupid weapon drops only for a single person because the damn system wills it to be so.
      Your description sounds more like a dream only for you, so I don't think anything will match it. Set your expectations low and hope for the best.

      Limb targetting works more for games like monster hunter (3rd person) rather than isometric. Just imagine hitting some random limb in an isometric game. The positioning is weird and there is no "feeling" to hitting the right spot. This is why you usually don't see it in isometric games. Instead there are "mobs" or other things you have to kill/target. Limbs become something that can't be exactly aimed at in isometric games (or very hard to implement well).
      TL:DR there are better substitutes for limb targetting.

      Sounds interesting. Kind of like a hardcore PVE mode. I would definitely like it. Would be good if all 3 races could visit and even collaborate to face a harsh PVE environment. I like collaboration because I don't think games are always about the other "side" or the other "races" are wrong or should die just because they're different. How is that any different from racism.

      Animation cancel always ends up being an accident rather than an intention for the majority of the time. Usually animation cancel is caused by interactions between GCD, cast time, animation speed, CD, etc and then the developers decide it can turn into a mechanic with a few tweeks.~

      well yeah, I hate their item/loot system. Some people might like it, but I think the game will be garbage for me if the stupid items/loots can't even be kept safe 90% of the time.
