      Limited use recipes are a terrible idea. Yes the value of recipes declines over time as the market becomes saturated, but this isn't the issue that needs to be solved. The issue that needs to be solved is the randomness by which you acquire recipes. There are over 70 individual recipes for items already and it is a random chance to receive one of those from any t4+ mob.

      Most players will only be interested in 2-3 weapons and 1-2 armor sets, this means the large majority of recipes they receive have no use to them, except to sell to other players. The only reason the market gets saturated is because most recipes are useless to the person who it dropped for.

      Specific recipes should drop from specific mobs so they can be target farmed.

      We do not need scarcity of recipes by adding limited used, crafted items already have scarcity due to material requirements and durability.

      The chill effect from cold weather is currently so annoying due to the slow effect that you are basically forced to always have a counter to it and ignore the mechanic entirely. The devs have not provided us enough in game options to deal with this.

      Right now you have two limited options -

      1 spell channeling users can cast a buff that ignores the entire mechanic - this option obviously doesn't work for anyone who isn't maining a spell channeling weapon, and it also doesn't work while you are mounted.
      2 wear armor that has significant cold insulation at all times - this limits your build options, no one is going to carry an extra set of gear to swap to and risk dropping their good gear on death.

      The devs said they want us to prepare in advance for the weather system, but when you have a day night cycle that will always eventually put you in a situation where you are gaining chill stacks, the only answer for players is to always be countering this mechanic at all times, and the only ways we can accomplish that are build limiting at the moment.

    • Legendary Elder Mountain Troll

      The summon requirements for the legendary elder mountain troll appear to be incorrect. They are not in line with the material costs of any of the other summons.

      To summon this legendary you require 40x Hardened Skin, which is only a 1.5% drop rate from Mountain Trolls, or a 5% drop rate from Elder Mountain Trolls (there are zero permanent spawns of Elder Mountain Trolls, only random chest spawns)

      Other legendary summons which require a 5% drop rate item only require 5-10 of that item, not 40. As it stands right now this legendary is not summonable with any reasonable amount of effort.

      It would make more sense if this required 40x Mountain Troll skins, not the rare drop.

      It is possible to reach frozen statues on mobs just using chill arrow and double shot. I have never seen the burning status effect on mobs even with using fire arrows + firebolt + ignite spam, I don't think it is working currently.
