      I believe that you happen to login in a moment where the servers were all loaded up...

      I played yesterday with no problems (except that of everywhere I went there was no mobs because a lot of players where in the game, which is kind of a good thing)

      Maybe, if the issue happens again, you could just try logging out and on again, or maybe closing the client as it could very well be a problem in the initial conection to the server

      I liked to read the wiki to find out more about the lore of the world

      It is still a WIP for sure, but we can have a grasp of the different Gods available and the overall history of each planet

      1. 3 different playstyles
      2. Race specific progressions (Demon -> Angel, Human -> Lich, Beastmen -> Abomination)
      3. Housing and cities + all politics that that involves
      4. The worlds (universe?) size and how big it is going to be, joined in a single shard for everyone.
      5. Knowledge system and horizontal progression

      @Clinion I loved this idea!!

      We could have a system in place similar to the one in the real world I think... basically, the more you have of a specific currency, the less value it is worth.

      There could be global variables like "amount of X coins in the game" , and we have a rate at which each one exists and a way to buy and sell them.

      This would require some way of "losing" the coins, so the exchange could have some tax applied to it, or cities would require lots of them to keep running and stuff like that

      Maybe every transaction, even player to player would have a 5% tax that would go to the server or something

      I imagine that, as far as "common systems" go, Arboreus will have all of it.

      That said, PK, theft, pillaging will all be possible on Arboreus , but to do it you have to be evil-aligned, and being evil in Arboreus means a lot of trouble (you probably won't live for more than 1h in there, and what is it good to steal stuff and die before going home)

      So much so that the devs even created the eclipses, they will be a time recurring event (say, every 2 weeks, for 4 hours) in which Arboreus roughly becomes another Syndesia.

      In my opinion, the limitation of "full PVE" in Arboreus will happen because of the way the planet works, not because they enforced any special mechanics that will not work in that planet.

      And if you are a full PvE, social type of player, there will be a lot of cities too far from the portals between worlds, in which you can live your life peacefully without ever encountering other races

      I would be glad to both build this city, live in it, and defend it with all that I am capable of!

      This will be targeted for sure as the intention of the city is to be a hub for all players, but we could find ourselves good alliances and protect the city with the power of all its citizens (plus the eventual mercenary guild to protect us)

      I love this idea and we could have the city's names on the map too, big cities appears with less zoom, smaller cities only when you zoom a lot on the map.

      About the names, it is really hard to make a filter in my opinion... because some names could conflict with common inappropriate words in it, like:

      • BrassShield
      • GrandIckarus
      • DemonsButTheGoodOnes

      I am really bad on creativity for this kind of puns, but for sure they could happen with common words too (Brass I imagine to be a common one in the context of the game)

      I think we could have a blacklist of names, and every time a GM refuses a new name, it is added to this blacklist so to avoid the "Okay name but has a bad word in the middle" kind of situation

      Also, we coud have player reporting city names with a description of why it was reported, then the GMs can approve or not the report and, if it does agree, give a timeframe to the mayor to rename the city, else it is randomly picked from that pre-made list commented before
