In the guard room, six hundred soldiers are waiting the departure for the war. Among them, 5% have a weapon. Among the 95% rest, the half have two weapon, and the others don't have weapons. How many weapons there is in the room ?

Here it is all of the possibility, left to right -> first lady, second lady, blind lady :

The first one is impossible, because the first lady could not guess her color, but, as the second lady see the blind lady have a withe hat, and the first can't guess, she could guess she have a black hat (understand ? x) )
The second one is impossible too, because the first lady will see two withe hat, so she can guess she have a black hat. The same for the third, but it will be the second lady who will guess.
The four other possibility are "correct" because no one of the two ladies could guess, but, as you could see, the blind lady have, in the four possibility, a black hat.
So, the answer is "The lady have a black hat" ^^

Next one :
In a room with no light, there is three black cap and two withe cap. We let in three ladies, the last of wich is blind. Each lady take a random cap and put it on her head without looking at it. We remove the two remainings cap and we light candles. We ask at each lady if she can guess the color of her cap. The first one look at the others and say "No". The second one look at the others and say "No". The third lady, who is blind, say "Yes"
How did she do(make ?) to guess the color of her cap ?

You have a banner composed with 8 squares with this arrangement :

How could you place the numbers from 1 to 8 in such a way that no one will be in contact, either by a side or a diagonal, with a consecutive number (so, the 3 could not have 4 and 2 in one of his diagonale or one of his side)

Avalon is a squared island (please don't try to find logic !! ) surrounded by a 4 meters wide (or width, don't know ><) river. We have two planks of 3,90 meters long ans some centimeters large.
How coud you reach the island with your two planks ?
