I used to play both, but the games got too toxic for my taste, so I stopped playing them.

Just wondering if there is some sort of bonus for collecting all the skills other than being a completionist.
Like, once you have you have a build or few builds you like, is there something that pulls you into wanting to still gather the other skills, even if you will probably never use them?

Warframe has somewhat horizontal progression, but even when you get a warframe and weapons you love you can still collected the others and level them up to increase your Mastery Rank.

So when you got the meta build(s), what is the force in the game to make you want to keep playing?

I am staying positive through this all. When I am ready for it, I will be able to save another cat from the shelter who is desperate for a forever home.

I had 1 cat, that is sadly had to put to sleep yesterday. She was old and very sick up to a point I had to feed her with a syringe. Last time I fed her she gave me this look that it's been a good life and that I should let her go.

An easy solution would be, that when you log in your character you spawn at the nearest spawn point, or even spawn on your home world. Instead of exactly where you logged off.
Having a cooldown time from logging 1 char to the other, will just push people who want to use multiple character for bad things into multi accounting, so doesn't solve anything, other than annoy the common folk.

And spying will always happen, especially if there is much to gain from it. Like EVE-Online, you learn to not trust anyone.

1 account per IP would cause problems for families or friends who live in the same house and want to play the game together.
And if people want to "cheat" with multi accounts they will always find a way. Like using 2 computers while running 1 through the neighbors WIFI internet, so it has a different IP, or loading up a VPN when logging in the 2nd account so make it look like it has a different IP.

Having an attack that deals bonus damage depending on alignment would be interesting. The more negative the alignment the more damage it does, but the more positive alignment the target has it would actually heal them.

All in all. Becoming an angel sure sounds like a very nice challenge

I usually play light armor classes, and light armor (robes) just look better on female character so I usually end up playing female characters. But I am never pretending to be female myself while playing a female character.

And besides, most MMORPG's your camera view is behind your character and when running around for hours, I'd rather look at a nice female ass than a male ass.

I just play what looks better. So usually play female character on light armor classes, and male characters of heavy armor classes. For medium armor it just depends on looks and what kind of class I play.

I agree the no-smoking rules should be extended to also include vaping.
So everywhere where you are not allowed to smoke, you are not allowed to vape.

Or they can do like GW2 and have several servers create a mega server. And do maintenance on 1 of the sub servers at a time. With the result that the game will never go offline for server maintenance and the ability to support multiple versions of the game. Meaning that when the game is updated, players don't get kicked out of the game but have several hours to finish what they were doing before forced out of the game.

It will always be like this.
PvE players want more protection from PvP.
PvP players want more ways to fight others.
And it's up to the devs to find the balance in between.
