      @miffi

      there's limited pvp on the pve planet. it isn't 100% no pvp, that's all i'm trying to say. I want to go there for the challenge, either solo, a group or a raid. to me it'll be fun watching the post on the forums about how the beast planet was invaded and they assumed it couldn't happen.

      I'd love to fight beastkin on their planet or human or demon. to me it's all equal and there are no innocents nor is there any griefing. if you're outside of the area where demons can't enter then expect to fight. to me it's that plain.

      it's possible that Arboreus is 75% protected, it's possible it's 50% or even 90% protected.

      Demons will be allowed to enter everywhere I think! But the pvp wil be turned off in a big portion of the planet.

      Great, I'm happy you're going to enjoy this. See, I'd say people buying their way up in the game with real life money and forum worries that try to get others banned, while happily dissing others from their save spot aren't the top of the cream either. To each his own.

      I have never shopped a single thing ;). I just want stop those selling gold (big companies or normal players). About the players that like to play safely well sorry bro but that's the biggest part 😉 numbers talks

      @jetah I just watched a gameplay where a guy was using the wheel to turn the camera 😛 I found it better than using the keyboard. Anyway I have to go now but If you are up on late night I'll watch the stream 😉

      @Miffi I plan to play human but I like to take the side of beasts that does not like any pvp action! Anyway as Specter said Arboreus will have few limited and restricted areas where the pvp will be allowed on Arboreus. We also know that Arboreus is going to be the biggest planet so should not be a problme to avoid pvp zones for those who does not like pvp. I the kind of person that likes to join pvp when I want and not to be forced. Bu hey the siege mechanic for humas looks so cool 😛

      @jetah I never said you can't travel there I'm just telling you that your idea of "invasion" will not happen.

      @Finland Wolcen there aren't many videos where we see the camera rotating.

      "keep the wheel pressed to turn the camera" Looks not bad from a youtube gameplay video but It's something I would like to test before say what I really think 😄 . Nice game anyway.

      @logain You missed this:

      In Fractured, if you like only PvE, you have a home for yourself (Arboreus) that features areas that are entirely PvE-only, and the rest where hostile PvP is still seriously restricted.

      If we are going to lose players because they will not be allowed to kill where and what they want on Arboreus I will be happy! That's the worst part of a community and luckly the smallest "niche".

      @specter Also he is not an english native so his communication is poor.

      😂 you are the guy that do it usually and insults players! Arguing about a language and calling it poor is kinda unfriendly and it could be seen as an insult.
      No worries I reported you few times already and I suggest you to be more friendly.

      I'm here for constructive talks and not to care about people who have problems with language difficulties.

      @Esher @EvolGrinZ @Jetah @Juan514 @Mazikar @Miffi @Phaethonas @Vengu Just read the main post.

      @specter said in The PvE vs PvP Thread:

      Over the past few weeks, I've seen a lot of discussions pop up about PvE vs PvP. Unfortunately, this discussion is currently taking place in the thread about goldsellers and DDoS attacks, which is not exactly about PvE vs PvP. :slight_frown: That's why I've decided to move this discussion to a new thread.

      In addition to that, I would like to clear up a few misconceptions that popped up during those discussions.

      Is Fractured a PvE or PvP game?
      Fractured is both! The developers want Fractured to appeal to wide range of players, including players who are interested in PvE. Fractured will have PvE content like dungeons and recurring PvE events.

      Can Demons raid Arboreus?
      Demons can travel to Arboreus just like other races can travel to other planets. However, Arboreus lacks a major PvP event like the eclipse event that takes place on Syndesia.

      Also, I would like to highlight a post written by Prometheus about this subject:

      Thanks for starting this thread @Logain, we've been following it with a lot of interest. I see it mostly evolved into a PvP vs PvE discussion, which seems to be very frequent on the forums these days - so I'll address that specifically.

      We are deeply convinced we can make the PvE and PvP crowds coexist in Fractured. In fact, we could call that one of the design pillars of the game itself!

      Historically, several MMOs just launched separate servers with different rulesets to address the issue. Others have gone for a level-base split - low level areas are protected, high level areas feature FFA PvP (perhaps with some mid-ground in between). Albion Online is a good example of the latter.

      The Albion approach helps with new player retention, but in the end if you hate PvP you're going to quit, since you can only progress up to a point.

      In Fractured, if you like only PvE, you have a home for yourself (Arboreus) that features areas that are entirely PvE-only, and the rest where hostile PvP is still seriously restricted. You won't get murdered when you're a new player, and you'll be largely able to avoid it after and still progress, since resources on Arboreus are not weaker nor stronger than in Syndesia or Tartaros - they're just different.

      Of course, I realize this answer is not explaining much, so it might be a good thing to anticipate the Spotlight on the justice system and PvP rules (which is already planned), since I can't explain it all in just one forum post.

      That being said, Fractured is still a sandbox MMO - you won't have a questline to follow, you won't be spoon-fed the content of the game, crafting, trading and building are a huge part of the Fractured experience - easily more than PvE, if one wants to - and so on. If someone is looking for the new WoW, he won't find it here :slight_smile:

      We are going to have a fully planet for pve without limitations and spare pvp on really few zone high restricted. No demon events will happen on arboreus this means that they can't invede to destry something.

      Below my considerations about it.

      Thanks god, I'm so happy about these clarifications. I can hide there for a safe and peaceful life and move on Syndesia or Tartaros for some good PvP.

      That's more than enough. I prolly abused of the term pve, i like dungeons and raids but for pve I meant a safe place where play.

      Thanks for this too considering that many thinks that Fractured is just a full PvP game, or to better say the core of the game is PvP. I'm really happy and way more excited after this. Could have all the right credentials for large player base.

      @jetah it's possible due the WASD movement. How can you manage it with a click to move if you need the mouse to turn the camera?

      this game uses A/S to rotate the camera. it's click to move, and my wrist hurts with only 4 hours into it.

      Unusual, what's the name of the game? I think locked it's better but I will take a look
