Not really. Plant Fibers is the single easiest resource to accumulate as it is...so a slightly increased chance by picking cotton doesn't skew things hardly at all. It's not like plant fibers are used to pay city upkeep costs or anything, they just make ropes, linen weave, and bandages.

[RESOLVED] Open smelter inventory -> open personal inventory -> drag ingot from smelter into personal inventory That is the one thing I didn't try. I assumed you had to pick it up into your hands like last alpha I played.
