Nop. Till this moment the dev team always said the it's mouse movement like Diablo and PoE. And it's for the best, Fractured is a isometric game where the camera won´t rotate, using wasd it's awkward and won´t make sense ^^

And yeah in the FAQ it says Alpha 1 late this year, but since the pre alpha will also be late this year, it's hard to tell if alpha 1 will still be held at the scheduled time ^^

Just a small corretion. The Alpha phase date is still unkown. What we are supposed to get at the end of this year is just the pre phase, in other words the Pre-Alpha. Also let me add that the full release is meant only to 2020, so yeah it's a really long wait but the wait will surely be worth it

Can´t say I dislike the idea, but can´t say I like it either.
It's not a bad thing what you say there, but that would be downvoted by a lot of people. Not to mention that the inventory is very limited, if we have to carry those items arround all over the place we would lose even more inventory space.
If I had to say, maybe you could use those tools to record a more detailed version of the map, while without those, by just walking arround exploring, you would get a simpler version.
(Ex: Without those tools to record, you would just learn the main roads, main spots and most basic part of the map.. while using those tools you would be able to record also secondary roads, with higher tier ones even some secret/hard to find locations..)
Well this is just my idea and personal opinion ^^

@miffi The more skills you use of the same school the more in sync they will be, which means the bonus will be better, so yeah probably. But I think we will have more info about that in the next spotlight

@miffi I think Battlemage is not the right word, enchanting does not use spells, just enchants the weapons/items, but yeah something similar to that ^^

There are many combinations that seem amazing and which the result would be pretty awesome. But the moment I saw the Spotlight #4, the first that came to my mind was Warfare + Enchanting.
Always loved the idea of playing a melee master but being able to manipulate the elements to enchant the weapons making them stronger
