@Gothix Oh i completely agree. Whatever rules govern the made up world must be internally consistent and 'make sense' from the inworld perspective. However those rules do not and perhaps should not be subject to real world logic.
Your 'read a book, know kung fu' analogy from an earlier post. You probably could learn many basics of the martial art from reading them in a book, but you would never be able to challenge a master as you would lack practical experience in the real world. However in the Matrix Neo basically gets a book on kung fu beamed into his brain and he 'knows' kung fu and holds his own in a fight. Makes perfect and logical sense in the world of the Matrix.
This is why we need to be careful about applying real world logic to our made up worlds. Things only need to make sense based on the rules that govern our made up world.
