@thwunk you know, i did'nt say no other server will be needed, only to focus on one to don't expand debugging work with latency issue. In more if you look to the GIP project obtained by DS :

The program awards SpatialOS credits that will cover SpatialOS and Google Cloud usage costs, including underlying server fees, during development.

So opening a new server in period development won't be "so difficult".
So if you're in New Zealand, how is the ping to a North American server East/West coast to a diablo-like game (not to a 3d mmorpg) ?

We could assume also than a wooden sword have a better contunding effect than a metal sword and a metal sword would be more lethal than a blunt wooden sword. They are no tiers weapons in Fractured only adaptable weapon with no characteristic bonus on it (like +1 int or +2 for), it's what we know for now

I think same that @Esher and @Jetah, Immortal start at the alpha launch, since we are in pre-alpha, I don't think the dev-forum are ready yet (I had the same question when pre-alpha launched )
