      @asspirin 1 vs 1 sure, but only if there aren't other people around. 🙂 if there are and you can't instantly re stealth, you're gone.

      Also if that target who you are trying to sneak, manages to resist / avoid your intial CC and counters with CC of his own, you're also probably gone. 🙂

      It's not a bullet proof build, it still depends on some factors.

      It can also work as you say yeah. That build is something like rogues work in other MMOs... have patience, wait, wait, wait... when opportunity is good, attack, nuke, try to survive the aftermath until you can re stealth again, and wait again.

      I never found such builds fun to play. I have no patience to just stand around and wait. I like constant activity. 🙂

      Also that build would be useless ain anything more than 1 vs 1.

      Sandbox and dailies do not go together. Either you have a theme park (and dailies), or you have sandbox, and you make your own content.

      People should start to understand what "sandbox" means.

      If a kid comes to play in sand, but half of place is made of plastic, and then parents give kid a bucket of sand and tell him, hey you can use this sand here here and there... that's NOT a sandbox.

      Personally, I would do it like this:

      • left mouse click is ONLY for moving around, and nothing else, it clicks through interactables and only clicks on ground and only moves your character around (the only exception being if you click on skill on skill bar, or items in your bag of course, or some in game menu, in which case you activate skills, or move items around if bag is open)

      • right mouse click (if you click on enemy) it activates basic attack

      • right mouse click (if you click on interactable) it opens interactable menu, and then you can left click on menu item

      • middle mouse click for something

      Being able to reconfigure EVERYTHING in keybindings menu (yes ALL mouse buttons too), people nowdays have mice with more than 2 buttons, lets allow use of those buttons too 🙂 and make people able to change what left and right mouse buttons do as well, if they want to.


      Personally I would like to be able to ignore "combat mode" / "normal mode" command differences, and just set everything to always respond the same controls in keybinds menu, regardless if I'm in combat or no.

      How? Have keybind section be able to change everything (even left / right mouse button operation), and have keybinding section for combat state and keybind section for normal state and then player can have different keybinds for either one, or same keyinds for both (which i would personally set up myself).

      Yes, but realistically having a bad day still isn't RNG, it has a reason... wife left you, you got killed too many times,...

      If taking this logic than you still can't implement RNG purely based on randomly having a bad day, but you can for example, implement less chance for crafting success, if you was killed over 20 times in last 24 hours... (arbitrary numbers), or something similar.

      There needs to be a hard reason for "having a bad day". Day isn't just randomly bad. 🙂

      • you got killed over X times in previous Y time frame -> your chance for crafting reduces by z% for T time (you feel miserable)
      • your guild lost a city through siege, all guild members have gathering bonus chance reduced by z% for T time (sadness)

      I usually in MMOs only block spammers, because they are the real scourge, and they do not let you see rest of the chat ingame.

      I don't have issues with "insert negative attribute here" 🙂 I'm not overly concerned what random "insert negative attribute here" people on internet say or think.

      In fact, I like to be able to see who is "insert negative attribute here", because they I add them to my "insert negative attribute here" list, and make sure whenever I meet them anywhere in game, I make their gaming life miserable. 🙂

      While it may take a day to craft leather, you may for example also steal that leather from someone else, or purchase it, or... (other sources of obtaining it, without cooldown)... You are not forced to do this daily activity, and you can still get that item in another ways.

      But this is still not the point, as I said, the main point is psychological effect "daily quests" have on players.

      • material to build greenhouses, that are mandatory if you want to grow certain plants near your house, rather then having to go to another climate zone to look for them.
      • housing, material used in profession to build furniture
      • material used to craft weapons, glass arrowheads, made out of glass with special properties, add different effects to projectiles, glass as material used in crafting other tools, either for combat or for some professions
      • glasses and bottles for use in taverns
      • marbles for falling traps
      • magnifying glass, a multi use tool used for some professions, and to start a fire for campsite (in conjunction with rocks and wood of course)

      Perhaps cool down can be added, so when one character attends a siege, he has a cool down before he can join next one, so players will have to rotate who does each siege, so not same players have fun with siege all the time, while rest watch.

      One siege does not need to happen on one screen though.

      If you have more complex mechanics, one part of siege could be going on near city walls yes, but other part of siege could be happening in the back near supply line, maybe 3rd part of siege near resource spot, maybe some people should be in charge of delivering supplies for the siege...

      Didn't we have technical (or error reporting) subforum somewhere?

      Anyway I noticed a lot more notifications today, and realized they came from offtopic and some cathegories i have previously ignored. They became "watched" again.

      Attempting to re-ignore gave me this error:

      And cathegories remain "watched".

      Please fix, i don't want million notifications. 😄 😓

      Problem is availability of storage space. If repairs require materials, stockpiling of huge amounts of materials will become mandatory, especially for blacksmiths.

      That will require enormous amounts of storage space.

      PvPisnt restricted per se.

      But... good tagged player can not perform evil action against other good player...and unless you are tagged good, being inside safe zone debuffs will quickly kill you. So in practice no pvp in safe zone.

      Edge areas oitside of safe zone full pvp is possible.

      No idea if there will be arenas where good players can pvp. But its possible good players will have to travel to syndesia to visit arenas. Not sure here. We will see. 🙂

      There is no sieges on Arboreus.

      Political warfare, most likely yes.

      I have understood that there will be full loot rules (upon death) everywhere regardless of the planet. This will just happen much more rarely in Arboreus.

      Aha so basically looting isnt restricted because of Arboreus, but for all practical purposes beastmen inside safe zone will still not be able to loot because they are tagged as good, and with such tag you arent able to perform evil activities on other good players.

      This means in practice no looting in safe zone, but possible looting on unsafe edge areas, beastmen looting evil players and vice versa.
