Canβt wait to see Jacopos mood today
Just saw it on KS page. Grats DS, and grats to the community!
Heck, I'll even hug all the beast men and woman! Fuzzy and warm!
That's a lots of bakers.
Does that mean we all get cookies?
What about gender locking professions?
Only males can be carpenters, only girls can be tailors?
(waits to be cursed upon and raged on by game community)
The most successful currency system for a MMOs have always been gold / silver / copper system. It just fits nicely in medival / fantasy environment.

- Bear: Becomes juggernaut
Bear: starts to care, becomes care bear. In care bear form player is unable to use any combat abilities, but can sing really nice. While care bear is singing, all other nearby care bears in range are forced to dance.

Larger MMO with less niche mechanics do not survive regional servers, do you really believe a full loot game like this will?
Even if community would end up spread to thin, it's always possible to merge the servers down the line if need be.
I asked about exactly that back on page two.
Many of us have probably experienced server merges over the years. My worst experience was in ArcheAge as all land is not created equal and balanced. I've experienced the cycles.. I was a late adopter to that game, I didn't have any experience when I started. The first time, I made my property work.. Everything was more time consuming.. more dangerous.. and more annoying. Once the first merge occurred I had a better idea of where I wanted to be.. This was the first merger land grab I had experienced in a game like this. It's not an enjoyable mechanic at all, but it was necessary. The merge happens, the server land resets, and the land grab begins.
So maybe I wasn't clear enough earlier.. @Prometheus how do you envision server mergers at this time? How would you handle them?
Problem in Archeage was limited land to build, due to zones in whom you could build being restricted.
In Fractured you can build anywhere, so even if you would need to re place your house, land availability would not be an issue like in Archeage.
Lich needs 120,000 eur, but it seems hard to reach at this point.
For now I'll be happy if KS goal is reached at least.
what is the minimum amount of player houses needed so that settlement can actually get the status of a town and a governor to rule it?
I'm guessing that just 2 players putting houses together and one of them being governor wouldn't work.
Any further info you want to share about liches? What are their advantages / disadvantages compared to staying in human form.
I'm gonna play evil, but still not sure if it's gonna be a demon or human.
If I end up a human, it will be a lich.
Go human and play a Steampunk Necro Lich.
(an above image is just for illustrative purposes and does not represent an actual fractured human lich)
Some announced facts:
Therefore Steampunk Necro Lich FTW!
At this point in time we still need 3,106$ per day over the last remaining 4 days to actually get the trophy.
That's either:
Go go!

If he declared his town as a guild town, yeah, as much as he cannot be removed from the role of guild master of the guild.
Could we get an option to vote guild master out of his GM position?
I mean what happens if guild master goes nuts and no one in guild likes him anymore? The only option is fore everyone to leave the guild and form a new one?
What happens to guild city if everyone leaves the guild and guild master is left alone, then everyone forms a new guild, and now its a city of 50 members of a guild, and 1 guild master of a solo guild, but he is a governor? Does he get to force all 50 other players to leave the spot and go somewhere else?
Tartaros fishing would be the best.
Or... indirect fishing to be a bit more precise.
@codetsilon said in Titles - Need or want?:
Hi all,
Was wondering pledging for those titles....is it any good?
It's not only for the "titles", but for all other stuff you get alongside the titles as well.
Alpha / Beta access for start, that will let you experience the game years before release for start. And then all other unique items that only kick starter backers will get.
Best advice is, go to kick starter page and check out the list of all items that you can get, and then decide for yourself which package would suit you the most, based on your desires and wallet size.

@evolgrinz said in Will people using alt accounts have any advantages?:
Multiple accounts, also means the time you spend per character is divided. So you will progress a lot slower with all of them, compared to someone who plays the same amount of time on just 1 character.
But Fractured is all about horizontal progression, so you can play multiple characters at once and have all be very effective in combat.
You can also play 1 main character most of the time, and not lose any time on him, and keep alts just for emergency combat situations like i described above. Full raid of alts, ready for deployment in an instant, in a game that's about horizontal progression can be pretty damn effective.
We kinda do need some CD time before being able to switching between different characters.
From what I've seen so far, I only see one potential advantage, but this requires a guild level organization around it.
Lets say a guild has all it's members make a 3 characters, 1 main one for a regular play, and 2 strategic ones that will be logged out at strategic locations.
So guild fights vs. other guild and looses that fight and people get stuff looted. Now instead of losing time traveling to home, to get new gear, and then regroup, people see in which direction winning guild left, and quickly logs in to their alts logged out in that direction. Instantly organized and ready to fight again, they quickly strike the enemy guild (while enemy guild is possible even still recovering from fight) with alt raid, kill them and get their stuff back.
__
There could be similar advantage on solo play as well, but in guild vs guild fights it will be much noticeable. I don't know if any game mechanics will exist to counter for this (for example an extra cool down timer before you can log in to a DIFFERENT character after logging out from your current one).
