Title sure, but title doesn't mean that you also get godlike abilities.
Take into consideration that this is open PvP - full loot - game. I doubt many people would like seeing someone with super abilities walking around.

I don't see what use that information is, but maybe if the info was how to do a skill or something or weakens a fortress your race tries attack of a opposing guild fortress that would be interesting.
Yeah, you could also possibly get a short insight into his guild members current positions on map, or something like that, so it could be useful for GvG. Or info about his guild, how many players, treasury gold amount, etc.
Let me try to translate this to English.
I believe Pepix would like to have no logout timer if you are in some kind of safe zone.
(Maybe I'm mistaken, but that would be my guess.)
Awesome video.
I am secretly hoping for some underground areas as well. Both public and personal.
Personal built player mini dungeons (under his own housing) could be super fun.
World bosses, with some guilds cooperating, and some guilds PvP-ing because of it is always a great fun (at least for me).
If such open world raid bosses are implemented, it will surely turn to alliance vs alliance fights between guilds and/or races. It's a sandbox, so you never know what will happen.
@havoc when you knock out an enemy player, you would have 3 options:
If you chose to capture them, they could still be rescued during transport by their friends or just a honest passers by that would chose to come to their defense.
If you transported them to your dungeon, a timer would start (people would not be captured permanently ofc, cus that would suck) but some amount of time that can be discussed. During that time, you could use torture machines (if you built them) to extract info from them, it would be like a mini game, where you press buttons and stuff, and if successful game would automatically give you some info about where's that player been roaming in last X time (that would be tracked) and what transactions he made (trade), where is his house if he has one, and stuff like that, depending how successful are you in mini game.
Meanwhile captured player would play his own mini game to get released from machine, if he is successful, he would get released early and teleported to some nearby location.
How does that sound?
(Yes I know it would be a lot of development work, but we are discussing here for fun anyway, so why not share ideas, even if they will not be implemented?)

slim - imagine bruce lee. Strong but small, great strength to weight ratio.
I'd rather call that "fit", but I guess "slim" can work too.
And the order in that voting list would be different, skinny - normal - fit - fat, cus first you are skinny, then you eat a bit and become normal, then you work on yourself and turn some into a muscle mass, then you are fit, if you stop working out and eat more, you are fat.
Only if we will also have fast food restaurants in towns.
Systems:
Headhunting - kill your opponents, cut their heads off and decorate your housing space with them.
Torture - capture the enemy and torture him with various machines that you have built in your housing space.
Public Defamation - make photos of your victims and post them on BBs of towns and villages, so people can laugh at them.
I beleive Grofire wants that when mob dies he drops 5 items, 1 for each party member.
Yeah GL with that.
@grofire said in guild sharing loot/ stats:
i want to go with party, because there is different roles in a party, and you can PVE better, or i might go with a party because i want to meet people, and talk to people, it doesn't mean i want to share my loot.
That's called a guild or a custom chat channel.
Being outside of party, a nearby healer can still heal you up, he doesn't have to be in party with you, nearby tank can still pull agro of mob you are fighting (if you are about to die and he wants to help you) even if he is not in party with you, you do not need party for that.
And you can chat with them in "say" chat if you are playing nearby, while killing your own mobs, or you can talk in custom made channel if you are not close by.
Party is something else, it's about killing SAME mobs TOGETHER, and then loot needs to be distributed somehow, between everyone who helped kill it. That's called loot distribution rules. You can not have "your own" loot if many people killed mob together.
For chatting, helping out nearby in emergency, etc. you don't need party at all.
This can not be voted on, due to simple fact that it would be too complicated.
So One person forms party and invites first member, 2 people in party, loot type is voted on and two players do not agree... how is loot set?
Third person joins the party, voting AGAIN, they don't agree, how is loot set?
Forth person joins...
I'm not even thinking about situations when party is playing with, for example, group loot, but in emergency situation, loot needs to be set to free for all, due to someone disconnecting, or all kind of stuff that usually happens in every MMO. Quick loot type changes would not be possible.
It will just not work like you wish. This is why every MMO out there since forever has been using "what works".
Party leader decides, and if you don't like that party rules, join another party, or invest a bit effort in forming your own.
@grofire said in guild sharing loot/ stats:
@gothix or... or... just don't make the party leader the one who choose... much more immersive, and logic... all other options bring you to a shit game like AO.
lol, so who will chose?
Each member for himself? So one member will go with round robin, one with free for all, and one with loot master? xD
Why have party at all then if you want your own loot? Just kill mobs by yourself.
If you are in party but killing your own mobs and not sharing loot, what's the point of party?
@loxreaten said in How should an auction house be addressed:
if for whatever reason competition has said rare valuable items, but in huge quantities
Then it's not a rare item anymore, mate.
Item rarity can change over time, it's not defined by game mechanics.
A DROP RATE of item might be low, so item can be RARE at the moment, but if people collected a huge quantities of that item over time (or by RNG), and now are selling it, then (even if item drop rate is still low) this item is, at the moment, NOT rare anymore, and item value changes.
Anything that exists in huge quentity is by definition "not rare"
@grofire said in guild sharing loot/ stats:
@jetah someone else, but that my point, shouldn't be party leader choice.
@grofire Why are you lazy to form your own party then?
Just go LFM in zone chat, and be patient till you collect people for your party. Then when YOU are party leader (after you've put in time/effort to recruit) you can ask other members of your party how they like loot, and you can vote and then you set it like that.
Most people are just lazy to search for themselves (to form parties, to create their own guilds and recruit, etc.) and then they expect that someone else does all the work, but still expect that "stuff" be like they want.
Again mate, if you don't like what exists out there, you are free (like anyone else) to put in some effort and form your own groups, and then set them up as YOU like.
Ah yes, another thing comes to mind.
What if you freeze the water, and stand there, and then nuke the mobs from there.
Will mobs be able to come to you, or evade? What if freeze expires while mobs are there? Do they reset? How they go back to their original position from water?
Do they die? If yes can you exploit this to kill strong mobs, then come back to pick up loot after?
This just seems like an issue with many questions around it. Hopefully we will get more details in time.

@gothix WILL I NEED A NASA COMPUTER TO PLAY FRACTURED?
Definitely not! Weβre working to keep Fractured available on mid-range computers and laptops as well, including those a few years old. What to say, the game is still in development and it is unknown what system requirements will be needed. But if you go PoE, and Fractured probably too
Btw the user i blocked is Muker, for his BOT responses all over the place, that most of the time don't make sense anyway. Like here...
Are users allowed to just spam the threads (with many non sense replies) like he does?
EDIT: nvm, I found the way but it's not very intuitive and obvious to see.
You have to go to your block list, then instead of just clicking on blocked user, you have to "search" the user, then when his name appears again, there is a small "toggle block" button that appears where you can remove the block.
So it can be done, but it's not so obvious to see and intuitive.
I haven't found a forum section specific for reporting technical problems you find (with the forums for now, since game isn't up yet), so I'm, posting here.
Apparently, once you block someone, to not see his posts anymore, you can never unblock him anymore.
You are able to go to your "blocked user list" and see the list of people that you blocked, but once you want to click on someone to go to his profile, to be able to unblock him, when you click on his name, in search of an option to unblock, you get a message "You seem to have stumbled upon a page that does not exist. Return to the home page." It's due to you not being allowed to see his profile while you have him on your block list.
EDIT: found how to un block, clarified it in my next post below.
