      Anyone is allowed to claim it but:

      • on Tartaros, there are no consequences for someone stealing your stuff.
      • on Syndesia, there are consequences if someone steals your stuff, they will get thief mark, which will affect their interaction with some NPCs, and they will become free targets for other people. Perhaps even bounty targets.
      • on Arboreus (inside safe zone) only you will beable to loot it becuase good alligned player can't steal from other good aligned player, and evil aligned players can't enter safe zone.
      • on Arboreus outside of safe zone, theft is possible by a demon player IF you are unlucky that you happen to be there at a time some demon is visiting (demons can only stay there 30 minutes at a time).

      Usually when zerg alliances are involved, its not about skill at all but purely about numbers.

      If you are zerg you can be present en mass everywhere, block all trade routes, affect whole economy.

      Some zerg limitations are indeed needed. Imho.

      It still depends:

      • does debuff stack have a cap and how high that cap is?
      • how hard it ticks when stacked, can you heal through it?
      • can these debuffs be decursed, and how often?

      Much is still unclear. 🙂

      Tbh, reading other comments here.

      You can not say if the choice is good or bad here, it depends on many factors...

      • How much a player can afford to spend? Does he have plenty of cash, or he can't afford the food..
      • How much time will player invest in gaming? Is he a gamer, and he will get plenty of fun time out of it, or is he paying to play it for a month and then quit...
      • Other factors...

      So imho, if one can afford the investment, and he is a gamer, planning to play for a while, and aims to have fun while doing it, then purchasing a pack can't be a bad choice in any way.

      If person is poor, can't even afford his bills, then buying higher level gaming packs... well i think it's obvious...

      They will just be at disadvantage due to debuffs.

      They may in theory stay forever on Tartaros.

      Yeah that's exactly my point, wouldn't only VIP be incluede in the list if they were hard-connected?

      I guess so people would know, more clearly, what they get with it. 🙂

      Because I think you might also be able to buy carpenter contract separately with ingame gold.

      While the rest of VIP perks (knowledge gain for example) you can't, its only available through VIP, and nowhere else.

      I might be wrong, who knows. 😄

      You will lose stuff like increased knowledge point gain, and access to that NPC that helps you with house,...

      You will keep the cosmetic stuff you bought from shop with gold, of course.

      Game is far from finished, so if you like what you see now, you will like it much more later.
      A lot more stuff getting added, new lands, races, technology,...

      It's why when global economy, and stock market shakes, countries get in trouble nowdays, their currency devaules, etc.
      Because money is not tied to physical gold anymore, and thus it's value is directly linked to global economy factors.

      Demons have 30 min to stay, after which I assume they get ported out.

      If they enter safe zone they will die, but if 30 min didn't expire yet, they will res somewhere on Arboreus, and keep going until they have time.

      So everywhere within 30min is reachable, except the safe zone.

      I'm assuming this will be like in some MMOs (lets say wow for example), where you went for a swim far away, then you quickly start loosing HP. There was no way to survive that, not for long.

      Population largely depends on quality of video material posted on web before release. Thus, on promotion.

      If people like what they see, grpahically, and by playing options, many will engage it, regardless of what type of MMO it is.
      This is why it is important that game is polished and "looking pretty".

      It depends on how game is designed.

      In a pure vertically progressed MMO, and especially one that is constantly adding new skills to the game with expansions, of course, that would be P2W.

      However, in horizontal progression game, the power gap by learning new skills will be mild. And you can reach VIPs, with a little more play time.

      So in this aspect this is just a convenience thing, that you can live without. Or optionally chose to take it. 🙂

      I guess we can agree on that travelling to other planets will be a challenge. 🙂

      Which is a good thing, I like that.

      Players will be incentivized to organize accordingly and venture prepared. Your choices will matter. Strategies will matter.
      This should end up great.

      Evil players can only venture around edge areas of Arboreus though. This is so they can have a chance to get to Arboreus resources as well, however shortly.

      They can not venture into safe zone.

      Good players have it much better in that regard, not being limited by timer on Tartaros. After some time expires, they get marked on map, sure.

      But then they can simply leave and problem solved, or if they are organized and grouped up they can stay even longer.


      But yes, there are always people that will try to grief other people. But this is not limited to "evil karma characters", not by far. There will be a huge deal of "good karma characters" who will try to grief by exploiting game mechanics on Arboreus.

      Hogging up house entrances, mailboxes, trade stands, city entrances so people can't pass with carts, grief other people while they farm in all the ways they can discover,...

      For me that's much worse than someone enganging you in PvP action. But that's just my opinion. 🙂

      I'm not quite sure where those portal locations will be (there might have been info that i missed, or no info yet).

      Outgoing portal locations might be chosen at random, so those spots can't be camped, awaiting for someone open up the portal on another side and come through with goods. so a random "exit" spots would make sense.

      There from those "portal exit spots" to the town where you are going is still going to be some travel time, where you actually risk your goods. Because I'm quite sure portal will not lead you directly to town, because that also wouldn't make sense. 🙂

      There needs to be some travelling risk, when going to another planet.
