      If game ends up:

      1. fun to play (immersive, addictive, not grindy, not dull)
      2. smooth performance wise (both lag free and offering good FPS on mid range machines)
      3. balanced PvP and PvE wise, with lots of activities of both type to perform
      4. filled up with nice community of players

      ...then I personally don't care if graphical assets are from asset store or custom made. If they are custom made it's a bonus. If they aren't, and above 4 points are filled, I don't care. 🙂

      Im guessing devs will simply focus on different things on different planets. 🙂

      PvE players will not be able to force more PvE on demon world and PvPers will not be able to force more PvP on beastmen world.

      And humans will simply have it balanced in middle.

      I would personally vote for separate consumable slots, that you can only use for consumables, and that dont interfere with regular slots for spells (where you wouldnt bea able to slot consumables).

      I havent seen a single mmo where you cant open your bag and use consumables during the fight.

      Thats the point of having consumables.

      For you one thing is not fun, for someone else that exact thing is fun, and something that you consider fun isn't fun for other person.

      Depends on how much "survival" will Fractured feature when it gets released.

      With a bit more focus on survival, a big zerg (without resources, because people will be weight limited) could starve or freeze to death in night without shelter, and die, loosing all their gear in the process.

      One other method is allow FF inside a guild, and have no CAP on member number.

      Just keep FF off in raid formation.

      So basically guild can come with 4 raids, inside raid there is no FF, but different raids will do FF to each other, and will need to strategize.

      Opinions differ based on pearsons playstyle.

      Personally i like to play in "medium" sized guilds and without an alliance...

      So i would personally vote for 150-ish player cap, without friendly fire for guild members but no FF protection beetween guilds even if they are in alliance.

      A forum title "Fractured is Life" or some other similar appropriate title for a nice round number of (level) 500 please. 😉

      Imho no other rewards are necessary. Simbolic titles on round level numbers could be cool though.

      If the model ever changes to "free to login and walk around" there will be some other monetization system involved. You will never get a MMO that is completely free because developer time and server costs have to be payed somehow.

      There is a good portion of people who cry for the sole purpose of crying and complaining. They come to a game, chose a topic and start crying. And it doesn't matter how good game you make, they will find something to cry about.

      PvP is simply the easiest topic to cry about, and for those people mentioned above the top choice because it affects the most other people, so they enjoy complaining about it just to disturb as many other players as they can. It doesn't even matter if its pro PvP or anti PvP, they chose a side and start complaining.

      To make it simple, when sending a report you are usually able to select a cathegory, like cheating, spam, abusive chat,...

      If these cathegories are well made, there can be a cathegory "real life threats" under "chat" main cathegory.

      GMs can then deal with it as they wish (according to TOS policies) and those reports do not mix with other reports, thus not wasting GM time while they are solving other report cathegory.

      If it's channeled spell with fix channel time, then attack speed isn't a factor.

      Or if it's somehow capped how much you can maximum drain in time period. For example, life can be drained only once per 2 seconds, and if your weapon attacks faster, then hits that land in between those 2 seconds do not drain anything.

      Or if weapons drain based on attack speed, and faster weapons drain less per hit then slow weapons, so it's balanced.


      So for example, if draining is a spell, it could be channeled and drain a fixed amount, during channeling time.

      If draining is enchant on weapon, then it could drain fixed amounts based on weapon attack speed, with each hit.

      Usually what MMOs do is following:

      1. do not react to initial whisper content, because you are able to ignore player if you don't like his messages
      2. if player is going around ignore mechanic (remaking new alts to re-whisper you), then GMs intervene and ban the player

      In the few early tests I've done, those melee stuns felt quite powerful 😉 but things will get balanced.

      Yep, GMs should only react if:

      1. hacking / exploiting = player ban (no mercy)
      2. botting = player ban (no mercy)
      3. gold seller messages = player ban (no mercy)
      4. extensive normal player (non whisper) public spam = player muted for certain period (this can be progressive for repeated offenses)

      I think humans will be most balanced race in this aspect. Just chose to roam through ZOI that's controlled by good guild.

      There will be some PvP, but you will have protection of guards, and of players around you (good guild ruling the zone) against attackers. It will not be PvE paradise, but it will also not be a murder box.

      I personally hope we will have an option to remove visuals of other players combat pets client side, if people will be able to have more than one.

      I really dislike seeing swarm of things moving around (player followed by zerg of animals).
