Thanks for info. Sounds interesting, having a nice variety of spells is always good.

RE: Resources
Most resources will be aesthetically different, but some resources will also be unique to the planet they are found, for example animal bones from Tartaros will not be gatherable on other planets. This is so traveling (at least by part of people who will transfer goods) remain mandatory.

RE: profile level
As far as I know, only titles are added instantly, and other goodies haven't been added yet.

RE: Reserve a name separately?
I always end up using few alts anyway, so I need several names regardless. I always try to find the name that fits character that I'm playing. Some crude examples would be Storm for elemental shaman or Blade for rogue (just to show an examples), so reserving 1 name still wouldn't help me.
I'm just gonna see what's available on start and use that.

RE: Any chance of integrating "Ulti" spells / abilities?
I think (hope) focus of combat will be on deck design and playing skills, designing builds for various scenarios and learning to use them efficiently.
I personally hope there will be no "ultimate" abilities of any kind.

RE: Healing
@Pwnstar you have that in many games already. Take for example shadow priest in WoW who does similar (vanilla, 15 years ago).

RE: Healing
I don't believe Fractured will be a classic "trinity" game, where there is clear distinction between tank / healer / DPS role.
Since a character can learn all skills in game, and just his stats will focus him more to certain orientation, Fractured is more meant to be a game where many "solo" people group together for harder content and work together using their own skill set.
So there will be no pure healers, everyone will be some kind of a "whole package", but just with different kind of utility equipped at the moment.
So i forsee more self healing spells, leech spells, and also healing spells which which you can heal others as well, but not so powerful that you could go and "main the healer" without doing anything else. Well, you probably could, but that wouldn't be the most efficient application of your character.
Included will be healing spells and cleansing spells, also potions that will provide the same function (with cool downs). So anything that you seen in other mmos, Fractured will have, but not built in a way so your character would be a "pure healer" and nothing else (you can but you will likely be nerfing your efficiency if you scrap everything else besides healing on your character).

RE: Fractured - a living world?
I remember playing my first RPG - Ultima VIII Pagan - very long time ago... during different times of day, NPCs walked away and moved to different locations, from home to work, and other. I remember it was very nice to have to pay attention to what time of day it is, to be able to perform some tasks. Shops were closed during nights, so you had to go to special shady vendors if you wanted something during that time.
A lot could be done implementing this into the game. Make game feel more alive.

RE: Rhykker Mention of "Pay for Convenience"
You can always predict the future, based on how developers stick to their principles and hold to what they promised.
There re few exceptions, where something really needs to be changed due to objective and real, honest reasons (and not because of greediness), but those exceptions are easily visible to anyone with at least moderate IQ.
So far we have nothing to worry about here. By what we have seen so far, everything looks great, and developers have been great in every way!

RE: Porting Test Weekend & Alpha 2 Update
So far all testing was fine connection wise. We shall see how it is when huge load of testers log in all at once.
Hopefully also good.

RE: Rhykker Mention of "Pay for Convenience"
@Logain you underestimate the presence of preetty girls being in a tavern. I think that tavern will even have a queue.

RE: Where is the news of the next test phase...
You must also consider that other costumers do not wish to hear such stuff in the forums, so even if you are a customer, for the benefit of other customers sometimes you have to get muted.
Company will never consider only one single customers opinion as most important one, they will consider the larger community of customers first.
So no, you are not so "deadly" as a customer, if your views differ from majority of other customers.-- just imagine a customer in fast food place, being disorderly and screaming how his coffee is not hot enough, and all other customers being disturbed by that behavior, not able to dine in peace, and staff then asking that customer to leave, for the benefit of other customers. Is that customer "deadly" for the company?
I don't think so.

RE: solo PVE question
Your home is safe, and if you build it correctly (for now) you are safe inside your home.
Some fences that will protect you.
Otherwise, if you don't like PvP, Arboreus is the best choice for you, yes. And if you ever decide to travel to other unsafe areas, you still can. And then return to Arboreus when you want safety again.

RE: Rhykker Mention of "Pay for Convenience"
I would say "winning" means gaining direct advantage (by paying) over other player in "competitive content".
So, winning a PvP battle, guild battle, winning a housing plot over someone else (by having more gold), and so on. So basically whatever works negatively against other players.
If something is solo content, so like cosmetics, bigger house, etc, anything that does not negatively impact other players game, that is fluff and convenience.
Whatever negatively impacts other players, if its gained by cash, its P2W.

RE: Fractured Content Pills - Week 37, 2019
Oh @Kralith you are a blonde! For some reason I imagined you with dark hair.

RE: Rhykker Mention of "Pay for Convenience"
It depends a lot on how the game is designed. What is convenience and what is P2W will depend on many factors. It is hard to speculate about that now.
But in general, if something is just convenience, I'm all up for that. If something is P2W, I don't like that.
