      @Ceyco in other words, if you want a chance to get the key stay active in forums by engaging in meaningful discussions with other members (random unhelpful posts do not help you). Read and share spotlight articles (and promote Fractured) on social media. That's pretty much all you can do and it's enough to give you a fair chance of winning.

      And also pray to Babilis, he has good connections. 😉

      Skilled archers could shoot an arrow with a rope attached to get across.
      Magic users could freeze the water.
      Priests with high faith could temporarily walk on water.

      Warriors could... start swearing and stay on the same side. xD

      i'd be willing to see RP instances but keep 1 server. This away RP can still interact with everyone if they chose to swap from the RP instance or vise versa.

      And everyone else can swap to an RP instance and go cause trouble (and is actually likely to if special RP instance exists). 🙂

      As I understand "WASD" type of movement is not planned ("mouse click on floor" type of movement is planned), but I still have high hope WASD will be usable to move your character.

      This issue just might make or break the game for many players. Option are always good, the more options the better.

      The most helpful way is for guild to have its own Discord channel with all the members signed in. Than it's very easy for each member to create his own account in Fractured website, and just connect with other members through discord channel, so you will know who is who in Fractured.

      You (as GM) can then create your guild on Fractured website (Foundation -> Guild Profile).
      For example this is a guild I am in: https://fracturedmmo.com/guild-profile/id/229/

      After that just link the web adress to your guildies through Discord channel, and they can join to your Fractured guild. 🙂

      It will be lottery. The more drawings you win, the more chance you have to actually win the key.

      You can win the key with only 1 drawing won if you are lucky. You can also NOT win a key even with 500 drawings won if you are unlucky.

      RNG walks a strange paths.

      If someone is interfering in your RP adventures by talking or doing "silly stuff" around you, just RP as he was some "mentally disturbed person talking/doing silly things that make sense only to him" and your RP will be full again. If he is aggressive, it's due to his illness, be careful because disturbed people can be dangerous to themselves and to others.

      Quality RP player doesn't care what people around him are doing. He just finds a way to include this in his RP environment.

      It will take more than that imo, but, even if it would take 2 weeks, this would still prevent most people re rolling like a mad man every time they wish to play something else. Besides 2 weeks (which is a long time to waste for re rolling) you also lose housing, learned professions, etc.

      I believe my suggestion from above would work nicely to let people learn about the game in beginning of playing, but needing to chose and stick with permanent attribute set when they surpass an "early" phase of playing.


      THE WORST option would be a respec token sold in shop, in which case game becomes P2W and I'm most definitely out.

      Being so strict with stats makes sense where you only get one character with no possible ability to have alts, but that's not Fractured. There's nothing stopping that person with all skills from just having a dedicated meta alt that they keep rerolling into whatever the flavor of the month is. In this situation, the only difference between the old character respeccing and making a new character is the amount of time it takes to learn and level up the meta skills on the new character, and since Fractured doesn't have much vertical progression it won't take much time for that alt to reach full potential.

      Oh yes it will...

      Leveling up all those skills to r3 will take a major amount of time, and that will prevent people re rolling. This is exactly why people should have several alts to play different types of characters (and why it will make sense to purchase several extra alt slots if you wish to play several types of characters).

      SUGGESTION:

      Perhaps allow players to respec attribute points (at a cost) until the point when they unlock 50 skills (there would be a warning about your attribute set soon becoming permanent upon reaching 50 skills).


      This would allow players to experiment with their builds early on to learn "what everything does" and to try out several builds and attribute setups, but at a certain point in time (closing in on 50 unlocked skills) they would have to decide on attribute set they want to keep on that particular character and stick with it.

      They would always be able to roll an alt to play a different type of character (or several of them). This would also make having more than 3 character slots meaningful - otherwise there would be no point in being able to have more than 3 slots (one for each race).
