      Hey, i was talking about an intelligent trained Crow or even a Corvus. 😉

      Problem with this would be:

      • you send a pigeon with a message for bank keeper, message says what you need from bank
      • pigeon flies to bank and bank keeper reads it
      • where does bank keeper send pigeon with an item back to? Even if an item is small enough and pigeon could carry it, you are not stationary and you are moving through the world, or you might get killed and forcibly removed from the spot even if you were determined to wait for hours on same spot. What happens to that item if you are not there? (I doubt many players would stay stationary for hours to retrieve their item.

      Remote item transfer to your location would never work. The most that you could logically explain is to send a request for a bank keeper in one bank, sends your item to another bank in another city. But still the problem remains how this item could get transported. Pigeons cant really carry anything heavier than few grams... and if an item is sent by ground transport then mechanics would have to get implemented so that other players could attack and rob this transport, since this is not the game where you get to transport your stuff safely (except perhaps in Arboreus safe zone).

      As people said, it's horizontal progression with a wall when you learn all 400 skills.

      However I would like to add that, since progression is horizontal, there is not reason why devs couldn't make this wall wider and wider with future expansions.

      So in a way we could have an infinite horizontal progression (if game will live long enough).

      It doesn't matter how the legendary is created. It's very existence would screw with the balance of a MMO that's meant to be skill/knowledge based and not gear based.

      Tavern where your character can be hired to be entertainment. A stage for a play. Not sure how this could work but still would be cool to have.

      Imo, such things would be kinda messy with isometric camera view mmo.

      When you change your god from Babilys to someone else I think. But Im not certain. Maybe someone else can confirm.

      You can change your god yourself at some point or be force changed when your karma grows enough that Babilys rejects you by himself. Maybe someone can confirm by exact numbers?

      But you are never realy prevented from coming back to planet its just that when you do come back you will suffer penalties / other demons will be notified of your presence.

      Or a buff to charisma.

      You bow your head to noone, not even "gods". Your personality is strong and you see every living being as equal. There are no "gods" just a different species perhaps more advanced ones but none more valuable than other. None that deserves being bowed to.

      Seeing world as this built up your personality and you gained respect of others. This boosts your charisma by some amount.

      I don't think player towns will be able to build gateways/portals. We already have fixed locations for these and some limited teleportation abilities. Having too much insta-travel defeats the survival/logistical part of the game.

      Perhaps just a short range portal from my house to a town pub. I'm lazy to walk.

      But not following a god means you are not a weak brainwashed sheep. You are smart and intelligent, so INT boost seems appropriate.

      Can we have atheism as a choice pls? Different god religinon gives you different types of boosts and Atheism giving you boost to intellect or something like that. You know, not being a sheep. 😉

      I know that would interfere with current game design. I'm just tired of having to follow some god in every MMO out there. Screw gods and anyone else who thinks he is "above" someone else.

      I'd prefer something less obvious, not just red aura around guard, "oh look I need to stay away from that one".

      People should observe. Perhaps different types of guards could have different uniforms, and players would need to learn what type of uniform means what, and pay attention to what type of guard they are dealing with.

      Fractured is about gaining knowledge, about mobs, about world,... so why shouldn't players need to gain some knowledge about game in their RL brains and apply it? An example is to recognize guards and know what they could do just by observing their uniform, and not by game UI glowing, danger danger.

      Lets not have another MMO hand holding us please.

      Game is designed with different principle.

      There will be no items that are stronger or weaker in general from other items. So when you have 2 items, you will not be able to say ok this one is "better" I will keep this one.

      Instead, items will specialize in different scenarios, so while one sword can deal fire damage and be good against mobs that are weak to fire, and weak against fire resistant mobs, there can be other swords that deal ice damage, lightning damage, posion effect, have chance to penetrate extra armor,...

      So each sword will be better vs different type of enemies.

      Same goes for armor that will have different resistances or offer different effects that can help you in different situations.

      This is why there will be no legendary gear. Instead gear will be specialized, and you will need to have multiple items, and then pick what you want to carry and use for your current adventure, depending what you will fight.

      You will need to make tactical choices, do you wish to carry more gear in your bag so you are ready for multiple fighting situations, but you will be able to pick up less loot (due to limited bag space), or you will carry less spare gear so you can pick up more loot, but you will be less ready to engage multiple types of enemies, and also have less risk to lose a lot of your gear if you are killed and looted.

      Choices, choices... it's why I am looking forward to Fractured being not a typical MMO. 🙂

      You are never "cut off completely", but after you become good (angel), when you set foot on Tartaros every demon out there will be notified of your presence, so GL. 🙂

      I'd be cool with daily maintenance provided it does not take too much time. If it's done every day that it can be done quickly right? 😉

      Weekly is fine too.

      I guess devs will see what is the best for the game performance and implement that.

      IT is already confirmed that when you are an evil player there may be some shady NPCs specially interested in offering you some "deals".

      So i guess it's quite possible there might be some NPCs that react not only to your alignment, but to some other factors as well (perhaps a race too, who knows).

      @Crache I am hoping for some cool down before you can switch to your different character.

      So if you log off, you can instantly log on to character you already played before log off, but if you log off and want to log on to different character, you have a cool down and you have to wait a bit. This could prevent players switching characters quickly to abuse situations.
