Indeed, "legendary" pieces of equipment don't work well in a game where items lose durability and eventually break, plus drop on death. Even if you're playing on Arboreus where being looted is impossible/extremely unlikely, you'd eventually lose your "legendary" item. Also, having such items would break our design pillar of different equipment being better/worse in different scenarios - not better/worse overall.

On the opposite, when it comes to cosmetics, trophies, etc, everything is possible, and we'll definitely have very rare / unique items. Asteroids, as someone mentioned, will be a very likely source of them. GM-hosted events will be as well.

@00 again, i do not see the issue, you need to be careful from evil alignment, what does it mater if that person will have neutral character too ?
spy always was, and always will be part of the games, and i think its fine.
this game have a timer on how much time a character can be off-planet, so i guess that it will be rare that someone can go spy, and log the other character and run to attack, it will take him long time to do so.

it might happen, i guess it will be rare, since there is timer on how much time race can be off planet, but why its an issue ?

what is the issue ? there is 3 different planets, it will be hard to get to the same place 2 characters.

@gothix of course it is illegal to physically attack someone, that just show you how calling some one a lair is considered offensive here.

@gothix its not that i do not feel this way, its that where im from, its not only a very aggressive way to talk, its on a border of violence, say to someone from my country what u said to me, and you will get a noker to the face, so as you fought its ok to say to me that i lied, i fought its ok to call you aggressive, witch i defiantly think you are, since its not the way we talked here (my country).

@gothix i do not know where are you from, and maybe in the place you grow up, its perfectly ok to say to some one that he said lies, and it won't mean he his a lair, but in the place i live, when someone say you told a lie, is the same as saying his a liar.

@specter im not even disagrees with him... i think what he said till now, is ok, i just do not like the way he said things, i think he hurting people, same as he try to hurt me by calling me a lair, witch you needed to intervene and tell him that wasn't lies.

but why getting there ? why should a player call other players lairs? he just need to be little more friendly even if he disagree with someone, at least i think so.
