@gothix in my suggestion the beast have FF off only on their planet.
And who are you kidding? Tartaros life is full of FFA PVP.

@gothix that not true, usually a group come from one direction, so range unit will stand close one to others, and they will be able to hit themselves while melee can just move little bit and not hit themselves.
and about the beast kin plant, well if u going to invade and disturb their lives, you will have to deal with the consonances, so FF off for the beast on their planet sounds find.
Conclusion: friendly fire brings good mechanics to the game, and not only senseless zerging. it must to be in game. -

@fibs i already said what i think is the best idea:
@grofire said in Massive battles: will "big numbers" always win?:
@target a simple answer will be to turn on good FF in other planets then their own.

@grofire I don't see how that would help. The big gvg fights will take place on a guild's home planet because guilds can't conquer towns on other planets. Also your suggestion would lead to beastmen going to Syndesia and being able to kill everyone which goes against the intent of the alignment system.
@target a good character can't attack good or neutral players! and if even they could, in my suggestion a good character will be with FF "on" in Syndesia and Tartros so they can hurt themselves.

@fibs said in Massive battles: will "big numbers" always win?:
The most obvious drawback is that you now have to newly plan and implement what happens when Good players attack other Good or Neutral players, as this was formerly not possible and thus not considered.
who said that, as much i seen good can't attack other good and neutral, did you see anyone from DS saying otherwise??

@genobee it was stated by people that are not part of DS, like fibs, you really need to be careful what you hear from people that are not DS, many people will say something that isn't true.

even in IRL big army's usually win. if you want a small team to win vs a bigger team, the small team should use tactics and use the landscape to their advantage.

RE: Mount Questionsposted in Discussions & Feedback
@alduinne in this game stolen is only able on drops and dead people, so it won't get stolen if you not dead.
But I won't mind that if you leave your horse away from you, unattended, someone will take "stole" it. -
RE: Mount Questionsposted in Discussions & Feedback
@gothix i hope not, i hate when adding technology in a fantasy games.

RE: Mount Questionsposted in Discussions & Feedback
i think the mounts should be persistent in the world, not only, i think that they should be able to die and be stolen.
