RE: Arrows - Where did they go?
@Logain what shift?
I hope that this change will revert, same as many changes in the past, like campfire do not allow you to change skills, you can't build an house in unoccupied territories, an so on... -

RE: Glyph User Migration FAQ
i tried to migrate by doing this 2 steps:
To start the migration to Glyph, go to Fractured Online's website.
You will be prompted to start the migration.

RE: Feature Spotlight - Towns and Tech
i hate what they have changed from the past.
this city-centric unwelcoming solo building and solo crafting approach, is one of the worst features in the game right now.
i hate all the changes they have done from the pre alfa till now, every test i found the game less fun, more zerg mentality, unwelcoming solo players.
I'm so disappointed, i feel stupid that I've put any amount on the Kickstarter, and since i had super high hope, I've payed for a large package. -
bug: when trying to remove items from the bandit chest, the items do not stay in the inventory
the i items just keep staying in the chest.

RE: Taxes?
@OlivePit you gave 0 example that counter the claim "you are forced to big cities in order to get the high tier items".
you did gave example how you can pay less in the cities... its not the same. and please do not let your Fanboying the game, to tell lies to people that consider to buy the game.
i wished i didn't back this game, but i did, and i will see the end outcome, though they changed basically all the core ideas that drove me to back this game. -
RE: Taxes?
So the rulers could have no tax on anyone and open access to all crafting stations within the city.
or
specific taxation on each level of player - transient, resident, citizen, leader.
or
use of crafting stations totally locked for anyone not a citizen or leader.
or
any other combinations.does it not player control taxes ? dude go to a DR, it seems you have some issues...
-
RE: Taxes?
yes, there is player controlled taxes. and the worst is, that the game force you to use it, you are forced to big cities, and can't go high tier items without using cities taxes.

RE: General feedback + a lot of ideas of almost 2 years testing Fractured
@spoletta i actually think thing gone less good from test to test.
the campfire change, the town changes and the progression, all was better in previous tests. -
RE: General feedback + a lot of ideas of almost 2 years testing Fractured
@GamerSeuss i didn't meant in a derogatory manner, but yes it seems your always defending the game, and pushing criticism a way, even a constrictive one.
@spoletta my vision of the game isn't so much different from yours, its just that the game isn't containing anything from you said:
fight: assuming PVP, its not a fair fight, we back to zergling. maybe it will be better with the demon planet.
trade: didn't see any trade going on, maybe since only well organized teams can use higher level materials and they usually self contained.
PVE: not fun, since the changes to the firecamp. solo is slow, unrewarding slag fest. as a group its ok.
forming nation: maybe i should talk about city's, one of the worst parts of the game today, its forced on players, have no extra content, other then gatekeeping of higher level equipment.
if all this have been in the game, in a good manner, its probably been ready for beta.
there is much more, but i have already talked about that in past topics, and i feel the dev isn't here to listen. -
RE: General feedback + a lot of ideas of almost 2 years testing Fractured
@GamerSeuss well since your a fanboy that just say aman to what ever, im sure you think the shape of the game is perfect...
and of course, since the game now is 100% fighting, you say it must be a huge part of MMO.
fighting can be part of the game, but in this state, its a copy of AO and its just bad game, as AO. -
RE: General feedback + a lot of ideas of almost 2 years testing Fractured
@spoletta as a solo it took very long time finish the knowledge, this is one issue, the second one being, that the grind for knowledge is boring.
as @maze said, the grind worth only if there is a good reason to do it for example, if every monster you found was needed only 1 kill to know, there was no boring grind. and you could still grind monsters for their materiel, and get cool items in the end. -
RE: General feedback + a lot of ideas of almost 2 years testing Fractured
@spoletta well i do not know what they talking about, but the game in this state is just a copy of Albion online, huge grind fest, around PVP.
the stupid moto "risk vs reward", that every stupid MMO gone with, since UO, and every game failed with this.
