      So right now city sieges are restricted to 30v30. However if games like early Albion and New World have taught me anything, it's that these things should be open and inclusive. Albion suffered from the having your guild funnel resources into a select few players so they could GvG, NW suffered from settlement owning guilds taking their 50 most geared players, and excluding an entire faction. I don't see it playing out any different here. Sure you can make the argument that "zergs" are going to zerg, but that's where politics comes into play.

      Group fights are over way too fast and usually consist of who can CC lock the fastest (it doesn't even take skill to stack CC in this game because they last so long). Stun duration is far too long, but more specifically bash stuns considering the frequency they can occur. Whatever stat is supposed to grant you resilience to crowd control does not seem to do anything in pvp. Health seems to have no consequence in PvP. Once your endurance is zeroed you're basically dead. Melee ability design feels underwhelming and boring.

      There has been past talks about how sieges and pvp for towns will work in the Devs eyes/thoughts. Not sure how it will work based on the different planets.

      Bandages seem too easy to use in most encounters. You can have dozens of them and pop them like candy at a moments notice. This is especially concerning in pvp where an engagement comes down to bandages. First I don't think the healing amount should be reduced, instead I think you should consider the bandages from UO as a good example of how this mechanic should work. Keep the flat heal, but put a delay on the heal. Bandages should also have a percentage chance to being interrupted making popping them while face tanking a more significant risk.

      In the previous test, I had no problem kiting in PVE as a mage, although some of the changes for this test will change how that works. The DEX -> Speed increase for this test will also change how the PVP and PVE mechanics work, so we will just have to try them out and see how they impact our playstyles. The combat was reasonable in the last playtest for the current state of the game - alpha. As for stutter stepping staggering (are you talking about interrupts?), I didn't notice that as a mechanic and it didn't affect how I kited. The only good interrupts I used were killing the mob or using Power Word: Stun, at opportune moments. There are a lot more stun type skills and also slows, both should help if you want to kite more effectively. I didn't encounter any skill ceiling at all. Overall, combat was probably too easy for PVE which is why we have seen a number of changes in the upcoming playtest to balance it out for both PVE and PVP.

      @Helix Yes, that is planned. But thats also dicussed already, one thread about this is just 16 hours old We don't have an explicit Spotlight about yet, but you find here and there some Informations about Sieges on forum. They the Search over all Posts or just with Prometheus Posts. You also can listen the last talked with Oxfurd about Towns and also about sieges.

      Population largely depends on quality of video material posted on web before release. Thus, on promotion. If people like what they see, grpahically, and by playing options, many will engage it, regardless of what type of MMO it is. This is why it is important that game is polished and "looking pretty".
