I can tell you that you certainly don't want that. Mistakes happen, that's why you will see scheduled downtime get extended

Well yeah, but you have to have "something" in mind that you are going to design to.

You could download the character creator days before launch. I spent hours decided if i wanted the highlight on the hair to be grey or red, and if grey what shade.

I gotta say I used to be gameplay before graphics

but now, if the graphic sucks, I don't care how good the game is, it won't be better than the games of yesteryear and they have crappy graphics

So while yes, I want substance over packaging, if the graphics aren't at least "good" no point in me playing.

This is smashface, my poor baby Warborn from Archeage who's momma hit him in the face with a frying pan.

Truthfully, given where Fractured is in development, releasing information around the time of Gamescom will just cause that release to get lost in the shuffle.

Either release it just before Gamescom (and hope its memorable enough) or release it in the lull that will occur a week later.

I mean the timeline for Fractured is LONG so no need to rush.
