outside of skin color, what you wear makes you stand out more. I'd prefer more cosmetics available from the funds gained than eye color (as one example). -

we know subs use to work. now it's a tacked on "optional" item that usually doesn't offer much unless it's a paywall, see swtor. subs were abandoned because people wouldn't pay the monthly fee (i'd venture a guess those that paid the sub became adults with jobs and family, whose children start to play game). publishers found out they could have a higher revenue with a cash shop, see LoL. if subs worked then every game would be sub only.@Finland
wow isn't a hybrid. they offer a trial where any character can level to 20, or you pay to access the remaining parts of the game. it's still a required subscription. Eve also fits this.@Vengu @Prometheus
to me the knowledge system should always be equal for everyone, same with the learning slots, the sub shouldn't affect the characters. what happens when the average population has all 400 skills? will they drop their sub because the knowledge point gain and learning was 90% of the perk? let's say it takes 2 years for the average player to get all 400 skills, what happens to the sub? the cash shop discount and cumulative bonuses had better be very good at that point. what if it take 6 months to gain all 400 skills? to me it's pretty short sighted to give a boost to knowledge and learning slots.@kellewic
you know that the 6h player will have sub because it's beneficial for them. if i played 2h a day i wouldn't have a sub because it's 60h a month for that boost of 10$. that 6h daily has 180h of boost per month which is a better deal for 10$.@Luccheno
by the time that happens the kickstarter will be over and obligations will have to be made. if majority of the population see's value in the immortal tier because of the lifetime VIP then major changes would have to happen to keep that value or DS issues refunds which won't help them financially.
I've been enjoying Overwatch this past year because it's b2p without a sub. i feel i can play other games and enjoy my time because there isn't an obligation to 'get my money's worth because of the sub'.

just have to make a great argument for it. I'd love it because it would open the game up to disabled people and those that haven't fully adapted to KBM (console players that swapped).maybe the game plays well with a controller and using a KBM is actually worse.

I'm pretty sure there's a book written with some insight to the gods. Not to mention these gods are pretty close to the followers so they'd probably step in and say or do something.
It doesn't have to be all skills but a few would be neat to have alignment locked.

I loved the cleric in Neverwinter Online. It would do damage to creatures but would also do small healing to nearby melee players.
If someone knows how to heal they also know how to kill.

that's the guilds leadership problem not a player problem. if leadership cant make the guild fun then why should the guild members care? (off topic but...). if you noticed that, as a guild leader, then it's up to you to remove them so they can find a guild they care about.
it's possible to limit the number of connected areas. Leadership could give the approval to be connected.

i imagine we'll see some type of check boxes for guild type but i dont see the need for it.
i've never seen a game where the devs put a limitation on activities when the guild is labeled.nothing is preventing guilds from working up their own trade alliances without it.
then why have the label at all?

Anti-Magic School
I was thinking about an anime I watch and the protagonist is an anti-magic 'class'. He has zero magic but can use weapons (2h sword and 1h sword) that nullify magic. The weapons themselves consume magic if a magic user holds them.
I can imagine this anti-magic user dies. a caster sees the weapon and takes it. while venturing out they see their mana depleting and aren't sure why. When they return to town they ask around and find out that the sword/weapon is consuming the users mana.
The anti-magic school would be physical ability based skills.
Block would turn the sword to block attacks or deflect projectiles (like magic missile or a fireball).
a special ability would be to reflect projectiles toward the mouse cursor (think Genji from Overwatch and his reflect ability) but it's magic abilities only. Someone case frost ray this ability would redirect it to someone else if the frost ray caster were aiming at the anti-magic player. -

this is a sandbox game, not a theme park game. there should be no protections against PvP. If I was running the game, there would be friendly fire on all 3 planets. I hate the 'protect the stupid, i'll hold your hand, i'll never let something harm you' ideology we have now.if you, as a beastkin or holy karma, it's your responsibility to equip skills that won't harm others on the human and demon planet.
