The real question is will the publisher get the rights to change the cash shop offers, and add new items to cash shop depending on their desires and not limited only to cosmetics.
If the answer is yes, then game could easily become P2W, because even if the devs add nothing P2W now, publisher would have the rights to add it later on.
It's also the reason why I am careful with Kick starters, and rather chose to wait for game to be released, to see who is the publisher, and what kind of rights of changing cash shop they have.
but that's not something that we'd see over night. it'd be a long process where one items is added that's a QoL but really borderline advantageous. then more of those keep being added over a few years.

that would cause people to join 1 guild. they'd have to limit membership or something else.
it could create 1 alliance so people wouldn't cause harm to same alignments.
Beast already can't harm any good alignment characters so they'll always have an advantage in invasions. this is why I want it complete for everyone. -

Ultimately just waiting for additional information. There's still plenty of time to pledge, and making up my mind about which tier is hard. I think more information will help resolve this.
I believe this to be one of the issues but there's still 3 weeks left.

Mazikar was asking if there will be auto travel mounts that take you automatically, you just afk on them while they do the travelling for you (like birds in wow, but not limited to flying mounts).
My guess would be no, but lets see what the devs say.

I think more like Eve Online where each city will have a Market. You have to travel there to pickup goods purchased or be there to drop off to sell. Whether we can have remote purchases is another idea for later.
Prometheus already mentioned some trading, should be able to use the search bar to find it.

If I were @Prometheus I would try to push out some videos of pvp gameplay tuesday and around friday post some video of different crafting. But this would depend on how much of those systems are developed. If crafting isn't developed beyond the house then they can't show it. I would advertise the game on twitch, reddit, imgur, fb and google.

2FA Post Kickstarter
With people putting cash into the vision of the game, can we get a Two Factor Authentication enabled on the site? Or at least acknowledge that after a successful Kickstarter it'll be enabled. Last think I want to read about is someone losing their account after putting 100+ backing the game.

I think that a good compromise might be to allow players to create a safe logout zone in the open world by creating a campfire and clearing out any aggressive mobs and enemy players in a large radius.
I think that getting players to manually set up camp is a more immersive and balanced method than the super-gamey channeled-logistics-spell route when it comes to enforcing players to not log out in the middle of combat.
I think that if players can create a safe logout zone with planning and consumable resources, then the 15 minute penalty on logging out in unsafe spaces becomes reasonable.
instead of using alt+f4 or removing network access they could just hit escape then logout/exit and are instantly removed from the game world. to me that's just as bad.
Do you seriously claim to think that:
A) Allowing players to log out safely while out of combat by spending time and resources to set up a safe camp first...
... would be just as bad as...
B) Players disconnecting mid combat to avoid death without penalty?
If so, I don't believe you.
i don't believe people should log out outside of a city or personal plot.

If you want immersive then there's no removal of the characters in the game world.

I've pledged at the early Immortal tier, although someone from my gaming community is a bit concerned about this project due to the relatively small cost of the funding goal.
I assume they have some pre-funding. KS is also an advertisement area. It would be neat to see where the 100k is going to be used. But I agree, they mentioned hiring 2-3 new people but that should eat their 100k quickly in one year.

The point of the foundation is to have a bit of fun, reward the long-running early supporters with some goodies, and to incentivize engagement and word-of-mouth marketing.
it's advertising for them and keeps the forums active in case someone random stops by.
