      I believe they are sticking with what why have now. But they are open to new races post release.

      Now it could be possible to have a cosmetic effect for characters that make them appear different. Example: A hood that changes the head to mist or smoke.

      Basically all of the beastkin and good humans will have no friendly-fire. Friendly fire will only affect evil humans and demons.
      I don't like that at all.

      i doubt people would ever pick ffa then. those players wouldn't get any loot because there's always one player that will take all the ffa loot and their own then leave group and move on to the next group.

      I can't see Fractured having personal loot (only you can see your own) but I don't see an individual setting their own either.

      In PvE you can get loot rights or not. Looting a corpse for which you don't have rights is a criminal action. Quite classic.

      There will be harder and easier areas of course, but no Albion-like stuff. They have that because of different PvP rules (not allowed, penalties, FFA). You know Fractured's world building is entirely different :slight_smile:

      yes, you will lose everything you carry when you die, even if you're a Beastman on Arboreus. You can still recover the items in your body if you get back to it in time and nobody has looted in between though. Whether other players (not in your party) can loot you (and the consequences) depends on the race/planet, of course, as for all criminal actions :slight_smile:

      you will get drops from mobs, but mostly limited to special resources and currency. No complete items, aside from very special situations. All complete items will be crafted by - and therefore also traded between - players!

      That's assuming alliances have the same restrictions as guilds. We don't know that yet. But yeah, the 3 planets should make it significantly harder for only 2 major alliances, though 2 major alliances per planet (or at least the two pvp planets) might still be a possibility.

      i doubt a party of 50 will exist. so the limit there is maybe 5 for a party. i don't understand the point of non-friendly-fire if friendly exist. i can understand no friendly fire against party mates but other groups and individuals should be susceptible to friendly fire. @Prometheus should have not mentioned friendly fire if good players can't hit other good players at all.

      Being a sandbox game they will avoid any kind of quest setup etc.
      The economy is 100% community driven, I'd love to see the same thing with bounties - no NPC's at all.

      eve online is a sandbox and it has quest/missions.

      did all the dailies and quest on the forums. they were giving more points for just creating an account at the beginning. recruiting is also very good for getting xp. outside of winning the contest.

      this requires development time to make sure all armor and weapons don't clip. it also means animations have to change based on body width.

      it's possible that some limited resource could exist so that the game forces players to other content.

      example:
      if gold ore had a maximum quantity then when it's been mined out people would start to take asteroids seriously because they can contain gold.

It doesn't matter how far the game is away if they keep adding things to it. Best to complete the scope they currently have, and then add things one.

      that's what i put in my kickstarter post last month. get the minimum viable product out then add to it. I also mentioned that most of the ks stretch goals should be post-launch so that they can focus on getting the game out first then adding to it.

      Fractured has friendly fire so it'll be difficult for zergs to exist, at least in theory. Fractured has planets too which will instantly split the population. If DS maintains their same race guild then having 2 alliances will never happen.

      Eve Online has systems with markets. however, you could have skills to see, make purchases and place remote buy orders with certain skills. If you wanted to sell an item it had to be in that station.

      Let's replace systems with Towns, or villages, and it could work the in the same manor. A player travels to each town to buy and sell. They eventually learn a skill that allows them to see what's on the market. they're able to place orders remotely. The goods are in the warehouse but don't automatically move.

      This lets our contracts to be placed for transportation professions to start. The merchant can buy and sell while the transport can move the goods.

      I don't believe the skill should allow for a whole planet but if it's 2-3 towns (depending on distance). if people need a lore (ie Roleplay) reason. then the market host gives a means of communications to the trusted merchant so that the merchant can see and hear what the market host sees and hears. Another method to explain it is 'magic'!

      I'd prefer if there were no specific system in place just for these features. Instead, there should be enough freedom within the already existing features for players to set up their own memorials if they choose — naming cities/streets/buildings, plaques, enough customization in city building to make graveyards and memorials, etc.

      Keep in mind that player settlements are not permanent. Buildings decay and can be destroyed, cities can be conquered, and when city ownership changes the new owners will most likely get to rezone the city. Making a memorial would carry the risk of it being destroyed.

      you provide a service to the community. if they purchase headstones or statues then you sell them. that isn't unethical territory. I did mention that there could be some alternatives to the paid ones in the game. maybe an npc could sell them for in game currency. if the person wanted a statue or very decorative headstone then by all means DS should sell it, if the community wants it.

      because that is one way how multiplayer games work. again until DS says how it works we can only tell you how it has worked in other games.

      if the loot is seen by everyone then, usually, it's the party leader's decision to say how the loot works. In Diablo 3 everyone sees their own loot.
      I have never played a game where the individual picks how the loot is distributed in a group. it has always been the group leader.

      grofire's fear is forming a group with guild members and the guild members (usually leadership) takes all the loot. Only instance I'd stay in the guild is if it was a weekly 'guild gathering day/hours', otherwise i'd leave.

      I’ve played WoW and it’s party or raid leaders choice. I’ve played Diablo 3 and it’s instances loot.

      Not sure what answer you want to hear because it could be any of them.

      If your in a guild that forces slavery then don’t stay in.
