The idea is a zero magic ability character. Or at least the mana is burned by the weapon to boost other attributes.
Ie using the sword means no mana abilities can be used. But your physical attributes are all boosted to 20-25. You have abilities specific for this weapon that allow you to reflect and null magic.

Foundation Bug
Tapped past level 200 on the Foundation on my iPhone via Chrome and it’s displaying a gray screen. No means to tap backwards.

Everything is a skill shot so it could increase RNG for crits. But I’m curious myself.

@Prometheus id suggest trying to get some VIP duration cosmetic items up for preview too. People love looking unique and any preview of them may help.

In the anime the protagonist is quite strong and handles himself very well against physical attacks but there aren’t any no-magic heroes. He’s the first and people seriously underestimate him. His swords nul attacks so if a fog is used he can swing wildly and dissipate it. If angolem is summoned his attacks will dissipate then too.
He said seen as a familiar Lee from Naruto. He’s built his physique as strong as he can. He’s now fighting with his captain who’s trying to teach him to feel with his being (all senses aka ‘KI’) to predict where attack will come from.

Anti-Magic School
I was thinking about an anime I watch and the protagonist is an anti-magic 'class'. He has zero magic but can use weapons (2h sword and 1h sword) that nullify magic. The weapons themselves consume magic if a magic user holds them.
I can imagine this anti-magic user dies. a caster sees the weapon and takes it. while venturing out they see their mana depleting and aren't sure why. When they return to town they ask around and find out that the sword/weapon is consuming the users mana.
The anti-magic school would be physical ability based skills.
Block would turn the sword to block attacks or deflect projectiles (like magic missile or a fireball).
a special ability would be to reflect projectiles toward the mouse cursor (think Genji from Overwatch and his reflect ability) but it's magic abilities only. Someone case frost ray this ability would redirect it to someone else if the frost ray caster were aiming at the anti-magic player. -

Far north and far south cycles being longer, while closer to equator (center) they would be shorter.
Yeah, yeah, I know it would be a bitch to implement the transitions between time zones.

EDIT: perhaps cycles could last differently on different planet.
problem is the maps aren't spheres, they'll be normal square maps. if they were to make a real planet then it could be setup that way naturally with the sun placement.

I played Warframe and there is pvp but it's like 1% of the game. the developers push pve and grinding for materials more than pvp. I don't believe they've pvp content in 3 years.
Warframe does have a pay to skip grinding. you can use cash or spend time grinding for the in game plat.if you repeat yourself then you aren't explaining it correctly. (i know.. i know.)

RE: Resting and talents
we'll definitely want saved builds for sure. I went too long in Diablo 3 without them and they are a great feature and a huge QoL addition. If DS can't add it in natively then at least give an API so we can build mods to handle it for us.
I'm not sure how p2w it would be considered but if they did exist then DS could add slots into the cash shop for more. I know having access to more slots would be a huge QoL benefit.

how so?
i dont like it when i'm forced to use a specific weapon because of a particular proc. IE hammers sometimes have an innate stun, so using them in pvp is very helpful. if a person can't attack they're likely dead. if the stun could be added on any weapon then the weapon wouldn't matter.
planning would be how to craft your weapon(s). like I said "maybe effects, like stuns, could be crafted in instead of innate". this game isn't a moba, you aren't locked into your choice till the game is over. you can switch abilities out at any campfire!

what if all weapon groups did the same damage but a skin (aka magic) was applied to make it look different/unique?
1h swords would do the same damage. all 2h would do the same. all dual wield would do the same
1h mace, same with 2h. same with dual wield
1h hammer, same with 2h. same with dw
1h daggers, same with dw.
1h scythes, 2h, dw
etc.this opens up the game to be more "play what you like visually" instead of play hammers because they have stun even though you really like flails or spears or whips.
