      His ragged clothes weren't the issue as he said, and he said it's a dps issue not a survival issue.
      I've got 100% knowledge in everything and basically crafted everything (all 23 creatures) as well and don't know what you're talking about.

      so you're telling me that gear doesn't increase stats, doesn't increase dps? it sounds to me like a level 5 wondering why they can't raid with the level 60's.
      can it be overturned, yes. can it be as a mini-boss, yes.

      It can be possible to change attributes, but it can be BOTH limited by long cool down, and super expensive, so it will also require considerable effort on your part to be able to do it.

      So group block can still play knowing that choice has tangible consequence, and group free can eventually change their attributes if they will not like their current ones, they will just need to place some effort in that, and not get it for free.

      I'm in the expensive and over time group myself.

      it can cost 10k gold, 1000 of every resource to redo 1 point per month/quarter/bi-year/year. Then it can increase every time a point is changed. the game has gods, they seem pretty active. no reason why they wouldn't want to help our the followers.

      I see two diferrent groups in this comments and I believe it extends to the larger crowd of future players of Fractured.

      Group Block -- Blocked Atributes for harder and consequential gameplay
      and
      Group Free -- Atribute reset for freedom to change with relative ease.

      If Group Block get's it's way a lot of players from Group Free will get frustrated at this aspect of the game. If we get freedom, Group Free won't get frustrated and Group Block still can play their way so having freedom to reset abilities makes no difference to the Block group.

      I honestly don't understand why would you advocate for blocked atributes then. Just let each player decide how they want to experience the game! especially if the mechanic you thinking of implementing will somehow ruin the other guys experience (in their perspective)

      Why force someone else to do it your way if they don't like it and it changes nothing in your experience?

      just because there's a request to freely change attributes that doesn't mean it cant be limited to a set duration (cooldown).
      i'm the type that wants my attributes to change as i change play style. it doesn't have to be quick, like a month, but over 6 months if my play style changes from melee to ranged then i want my stats to show that. a person keeping high strength while casting spells; thus not using 2h weapons or heavy armor, should get weaker over time.

      Personally i enjoy the development of several specialized characters more then just 1 super toon. For me it is not the race to be best it is to the creation of the best to fit my mood/play style.

      that sounds great until you need both characters in a certain spot and have to move them. that means, double resources to travel, equip, etc. now if you add in a character for dedicated gathering then you're outfitting 3 characters.

      The combat is the worst part about this game currently. Auto attacks are too fast and dont do enough damage each to actually feel impactful, and hit recognition with the dagger in particular is abysmal. Kiting with the bow feels terrible due to a long turn around animation to fire a shot behind you. Even just moving feels clunky due to turning animations.

      please make the combat/movement feel more fluid.

      almost sounds like an alpha..

      I played diablo 2 back in the day (pre expansion time). I had no idea about the game but it looked fun and i had a few friends that played it. i played a wizard/sorc and choose fireball as my primary ability. i was pretty much stopped at a later act because i couldn't do enough damage to kill the groups of mobs. i found a trainer that would allow me to swap my skill points (offline of course) into the Frozen Orb skill. and OMG did that frost skill do so much more damage.

      There are times where you even read builds and decide to try them only for you to not enjoy the playstyle. Now compound that with the need to find knowledge to unlock spells and any given character could need 1-6 months to catch up to your main but may have only 5 attribute points difference.

      I might miss the point here, how could it be bad for them? i see they will have to fight from time to time but it will make the world seem more ... "dangerous" and lively.

      imo if you can harvest without being interrupted when a crawling horror hurt you it loose on the horror part of the monster (and so on for other kind of monsters).

      I think in terms of PvP, where a dedicated gatherer would have friends or paid mercs to guard them. The gatherer would want to stay gathering, even while being hit, until the friends/merc killed the aggressor. or a solo gatherer is harvesting something rare, an enemy attacks and the gatherer wants to finish the current channel time to get the item, then run, but an attack would completely stop that.

      a weak person, a typical computer IT person, can work out to increase their strength. a strong person, take Arnold, can have an injury and have to stop working out. that's a case where your strength can increase and decrease.

      Arnold actually had heart surgery and was told he couldn't heavy lift any more. He can only do endurance. His strength will decrease over the years.

      using melee weapons should adjust your dex (for light-fast weapons) or strength (1h/shield and dual hand).

      need a combat stance and gathering/crafting stance.

      or have the game recognize someone is in combat and remove the option to gather. that could be bad for those that decide to be fully crafters.

      if developers put out actual manuals, then I agree about carefully and thoughtfully but fact is they dont and only give you a few words to determine the permanent fate of your character. I've had some games where I wanted to be melee but found range so much better and vise versa. I also hate making permanent decisions before even playing the game!

      that's what I've been advocating about, but a more automated system, of attribute adjustments over time.

      I was thinking a tribute system of materials given to the Gods of the Karma/Planet. Have a month CD, say on the 1st of our month.

      I really like the idea that each character has a unique seed created and all random things are generated but i'm not sure how difficult that'd be.

      and that is praised until stats are nerfed and builds are nerfed then people will cry that their attributes need to be changed.

      problem is your (yes RL you) strength, stamina can change by doing or not doing things. having resets, limited of course, is better for the game.

      @Jetah please don´t 😄 there are some first person fighting games, but all of them suck - some more, some less, but still differ from reality too much. Im glad theres some mmo from isometric perspective (as rpgs should be 😛 )

      rpg is just a role playing game. sometimes you're playing a role (first person), sometimes you're guiding the avatar (over the shoulder), sometimes you're god (isometric); haha not really but it's as close as we'll get.

      I just thought it'd be cool to have a way to take the isometric view to first/third person for combat.
