so focused the open test wasn't announced to the Kickstarter backers... like nearly every time before.

Ive backed Crowfall in KS and Star Citizen outside KS and they are both submitting updates to kickstarter backers. they haven't forgotten those that put in the most public risk to get their project going.

i vote for a council that the community can vote on and let DS have the final vote!

i can honestly say that ref spam will be much less than the gold RMT spam we'll get in game.

pills and spotlights were both killed by it.

Demons aren't suppose to be easy.

not really. i've had my friend tell me about a game; create an account, only to find out later they had a referral program. if i could have linked it they could have gotten something.

having VIP will allow a person to counter other players easier. having a group with VIP would mean they could counter more than those without.

if the VIP group is heading north they can quickly learn the spells needed to counter mobs, thus allowing them to grind easier. I've read about the wisp and shaman that a player can learn their skills which make them easier to farm. take that and now apply that to every type of mob that exist.

the biggest question will be how much time will it take to become equal to a VIP player in terms of knowledge. if it takes 2, 3 or 4 times the time then it's a paywall. if it's double then it'll take 12 months to be equal to a VIP at 6 months. although in 12 months you'll need 24 months, etc. if it's 4 then in it'll take 12 months to be equal to a VIP at their 3 month.

sure the end goal is the same but if the VIP is getting so much faster then i'd call it pay to win. Now the VIP will help those that frequently take breaks playing a game as they can quickly catch up.

If someone is drained out of vital energies that would in my understanding mean rather death than teleporting out of the planet. Moreover, why on earth demons would be treated so light? Does not make much sense tbh.

We'll try to implement male/female options wherever it makes sense for both Beastmen and Demons, such as the Blood Demon (Vampire) or the Erwydra (Hart-Kin). For other sub-races however, such as the Hellfire Demon (Infernal) or the Nheedra (Bear-Kin), it wouldn't really make sense, so their gender will be undefined

if there's clothing for the breast then it's female. if there's no clothing there then it's male. I doubt you can really do a genderless version without it looking like one or the other.
for the Hellfire Demon you can do a model that looks like a female bodybuilder.

I'll give you the point that most of the fury's you can't tell the difference by visuals. You could do a physical size difference as most mammal males are larger than their female counterpart.

You have me curious. How long do you think it takes (is it going to take in the future) to know if you like Fractured or not? And is that pure game time, or just real life time? What factors prevent people from getting to a conclusion faster?

the knowledge system will prevent people from knowing faster if they want it. this game will need at a minimum a 14 day trial (actual referral would be nice). but even then if the person only has the weekend then they might not know well enough in 6 days (assuming F/S/S x2).

you really need to try Path of Exile. only thing you'll want to buy are stash tabs but you can play without them (it'll be hard but possible).
BDO isn't F2P though.
