      I like to refer back to the text if I want to refresh my memory on a given point and trying to do that in a video is quite difficult.

      I have the previous one transcribed as well so will post in a new topic since it also covers recent stuff - the one from Oxfurd on May 3rd.

      That scenario is possible I suppose but more likely towns will allow non-resident use with a fee. Cities will eventually have maintenance costs and one way to cover those would be to charge for use of crafting stations. You could also purchase items from the crafters making them in the cities.

      The crafting isn't designed so everyone can make everything even in cities. Advanced crafting stations, resource nodes, and city tech trees haven't been implemented yet so there's a whole other layer to crafting mentioned in the last 2 Q&As.

      I haven't found the enchantments completely necessary yet let alone fully enchanting every piece of gear. I mostly play solo and now with the talent tree in, it's even easier to make your character more powerful.

      As far as progress, the answer is yes and Prometheus covered it a little in the last Q&A, but likely not what you want to hear since it only gets harder. It's not supposed to be easy to get the best enchantments immediately (or the best gear). I mean, most MMOs work like that. You spend time to get more powerful. Until then you go around collecting plants and killing less powerful creatures to build up knowledge points you can then spend on abilities / talents. Then you can go after bigger "game" to get rarer enchantment items.

      I play low STR characters a lot and I haven't found it to be a huge issue. I usually carry half the stones I need and find the other half + branches as needed. Where have you been that there are absolutely no stones? Along the way, if I find a house, I use their fireplace instead of wasting my resources on a campfire.

      I've played melee, bow, and mage and haven't come across anything that takes minutes, although as melee against wisps I don't even bother since they are immune to physical damage. I'm curious what you're fighting and with what build that takes minutes.

      The camera angle definitely makes you have to work around the issue and I've been netted many a times by goblins I can't attack since they are off-screen.

      Items like trees and tents being in the way and not transparent is annoying when fighting since many times goblins hide in the tent and you can't see them unless you start mousing over the entire structure until you see their red outline.

      @Roccandil Being able to hit a specific target in the middle of a pack feels a bit off to me since that mob would have a lot of cover. Most melee weapons already hit multiple targets and, as you said, there are several AoEs for spells.

      It seems since patch 2.3.0e this became a problem again. When the test started you could run through them most of the time to move them, but not any more.

      I've run into this as well after having pretty much any status effect on. I can't interact with anything until it goes away except looting corpses and attacking.

      Quite a number of abandoned carts as well out in the world. Maybe it will change when they implement decay although not sure if it will affect things like carts.

      @GamerSeuss They differentiated them in Spotlight #2 to where "Gateways" are same planet and would only be in a few key locations whereas "Stargates" are inter-planetary and would be difficult to construct and aren't permanent. With the introduction of Harbor Offices, I'm not sure if they're thinking has changed since Spotlight #2 did come out about 3 years ago.

      Aren't docks, which will hopefully be implemented this test, basically fast travel? The thing is that they are on the edge of the map, so as long as they keep resources in the middle I'd say it's alright.

      It was in Spotlight #2 they mentioned they would have "Gateways", which at this point seems what the Harbor Office covers. If that Spotlight is still accurate, you need to discover each location before you can travel to it. They also said you can only take yourself and not things like stone, logs, wagons, etc. through.

    • Attribute scores at 20 not giving bonus

      I haven't checked Willpower and Fortitude, but for Evasion and Accuracy the highest it goes is 300 with DEX/PER at 20 which means it's not taking the +10 bonus into account. With the bonus they would both be 500.
