But "I wonder if I can get the weekly drawing," is far more laconic (an important trait when writing on one's phone), you see.

A brief perusal of my Foundation page reveals I can claim the point bounty on daily posts.
Which I am doing so now.

The devs have stated they're following a "Buy to Play" business model - buy once then you're good to go forever. So you only ever need to part with cash once if you wish to play the game.
Of course, the "Dynamight Cash," that's been mentioned in the rewards also hints at microtransactions. Presumably this will be for things like skins and whatnot.

From the FAQ:
8. What business model will Fractured follow?
Fractured will follow a “buy to play” business model. This means that a single initial purchase will give you permanent access to the game, without any content restriction!
