Most important thing, we need to give them time to finish the game state to be able to start an Pre-Alpha access.
I‘m quite sure, they won‘t give us first steps in a non working environment.
Also they need to introduce us (who will be chosed for Pre) whats important to figure out in this closed phase of the game. Preparing this will need time.
If we are too unpatient at all points, we will get maybe not what we expect. And to make us disapointing can not be the goal of DS.
Whenever it is finish to show us, they will start. Even it will be in December, January or later.
I can just speak for myself, but i think they should take the time they need and i will not demand an too early start, just because i am hyped.

As for the others, your discussion about being against every small advantage by VIPs is going very confusing.
Some of you argue as it would be a f2p game.
Some of you scare about something you not know.
And some of you make big words and starts to fight each other.
We should discuss on an non emotional way, since the result of it will influence the game and how it will be.

I don't want a game full of envy and greed.

indeed the google translator is quite good in both directions.
For understanding the content in general it works well.
Sometimes it does weird wordcombinations.
I use google as help for my translations too, since i‘m not even close to a professional translator. Especially for phrases it works well. As a second source i use linguee.

I enjoy much to give my german speaking fellows a bit easier understanding and following the news. At least the most important ones, like the roadmap.
The thank from them is my reward and i appreciate it much.

@blah64 Thats normal, that the titel will come later, i don‘t miss any badges, just the stretched goals, but Jacopo still said, he is working to get them implemented too.
I think that is needed for them to get a kind of counter.

I am glad to hear about the join of the innovation program, i am very curious how it will pay out for the scaling of the servers.

The pills are a great thing, i am looking forward for more.
As for now i can say, i am like the day/night cycle, it brings much atmosphere into the game and i hope for the right fear factor and some mechanics that day/night phases maybe will bring us.

@grofire to be honest, what you would do, if you want to start with a dozen people but you have to chose between 100?
Nothing can be „fair“ in this case, it is always a hard choice and you will alwas find someone who thinks it is not fair.
The Devs have chosed the dozen about they think it is good to start with and they still said they are sorry about them who have to wait.
And they also said, the Top 100 will be in Pre for sure, just in waves, they never stated, the first wave will be the first 10.

I would suggest to change your point of view and think about how you would handle it.

And i am quite sure, the first ones will eliminate the worst bugs, so be happy to get a better Pre, when you can join them.
