My way of character creation will be at first a story for her, based on the general lore of Fractured. Then i will check, what possibilities i will have ingame.
But mostly possible i will play a good supporter, very likely something with magic.
If it will be healing or buffing my fellows, i don't know, but for sure something that will give my group a boost while being on expedition.

Beside this i always liked skills for gathering, exploring, finding secrets and alchemy.

If there is a path for shamanism/druidism that binds you on the might of mother nature, i will for sure play my character this way. Very likely in Roleplay too.

Just because they're able to keep their live game up, doesn't mean they're fine. Without a license, SpatialOS can't support their Unity platform, and without support, further development on the platform is risky. If any major bugs pop up, devs are screwed. If Improbable and Unity can't agree to a solution to at least keep support, these games are still going to have to switch engines or stop updating.

Thats the whole point.

The question about who is guilty and who not we can not answer with the informations we have, because all around are just speculations about the public words of both sides.
All this does not matter, it just matters, that Developer get a clear answer, how they can work on with SpatialOS.

There are just some possiblities how it can work out:

1. Improbable and Unity get any partnership as result of their negotiations: All will be fine for future

• althought the Licence owner are warned, that it can happen again, means the trust is destroyed

1. Improbable and Unity don't get together anymore:

• Developer have to decide, either to stay at SpatialOS and move their Engine or to change the Platform and stay at Unity.

All in all, whatever will happen, the Developer are indeed affected, much affected.
In this case Unity simply lied about this whole "No actual Developement is affected in any kind".

I think everybody of you know, why i suggest it.

If you guys from Dynamight was thinking about biomes with tropical or subtropical climate, a coffee plant is a must in it.
Consider, without it @Gothix an my Shroffee would never be possible

The new TOS by Unity are out.

Essence:

• SpatialOS does not longer breach the TOS, but they are not supported by Unity.
• Improbables licenses will get actived again

What it means for us, will surely and hopefully explain Prometheus soon.

@Azccc if you have in EU an income of 37k a year, you have a quite good life.
Maybe not a luxury life, but a life without problems to pay your monthly bills and be able to spare money and/or do some funny things with it.
I know many many people who have a salary under 25k a year even in Germany.
There are even much people who not even get the legal 8,50 Euro per hour.
If you count it for an average working month with 160 hours it is not even 1400 Euro, means 16,800 Euro per year.

@Aerenwe We had countless ideas about Races in last 2 years.
You can try the search for them.

In my Opinion, it is totally enough for a long time to have three playable Races.
For first, because of adding new possibilities, there can be new sub races.
For second, the system is based on the separating and combining at the same time the three playstyles of strict PVP, a bit PVP and mostly PVE or strict PVE. This will cover the three races.
What playstyle you would add for another Planet with another race?

If i remember right, Prometheus said in the past, that there is no next Mainplanet planned for now, but it would be possible.

@Daz Hobbit/Dwarf like Race would be fit into Humanworld.
@Meiki Lizards would be more fitting into Beastmenworld.

An Alpha test is for testing each corefeature, one after another.
With time you will get more and more features in it, if the others you tested already worked.
At the start of the Alpha, we had rarely bears, deers, wolfs, foxes and rabbits. And just a handful skills.
Hey, but we could build houses and pick up some plants, where the most had no use.
Just to say, the Alpha is made to test the corefeatures.
Even if they come supposedly random or get taken away later again, if they don't work.

We have so many things that will come in later tests.
Next test we will get first NPC Towns as Starter Towns and the plots you will not be able to just to take, they will cost something.
Also first Guild Features will be in the test. And new Monsters.

Also upcoming in later tests are own towns, trading, alignment system, following a full PVP system, biome conditions (hot, cold), all 3 Races and its Planets... and more and more.

Fractured is a true Alpha and not an Early Access.
