You won't ever be able to scuba dive, but most likely we will implement the possibility to swim at the surface for crossing rivers. (It will also depend on what you're wearing).

@Tuoni i am agreeing, they are indeed a good way to seperate areas.
But swimming would fit into your idea about it.
There will be maybe several ways to cross a river.
Bridges are fast, but you need to go to them before.
Shallow Water, a bit slower, but acceptable and you need to find them first, maybe you can't take carts with you this way.
Swimming, very slow in reason of waterflow. You get a malus when you swim in thick clothes, maybe some of your equip gets damaged (Rust, Spoiling,...).
It is even imaginable, that you can get knocked out in water, because your energy is too low.And i saw in several isometric sandbox games swimming.
I don't see any reason, why there should be a problem to implement swimming. -

The Studio is in a very early state with Fractured.
That means, we will get much polishing throughout all phases of Alpha and Beta Testing.
I am almost sure, they will think about swimming through water later on.
At least the love they put into the graphics and atmosphere let believe me that.
Also there was not much Animations in the last testing phase, because proper character animations is something they have still on the ToDo list.
But to be honest, at the actual state of the game, the right animations are relativly unimportant.
First we need a game where all mechanics are implemented. Well, swimming is one of them tho. -

@Warlunhardt You will find easily materials for your first steps in the game all around.
That was mentioned several times by the Studio.The first Skills and Receipes will not be hard to learn and the needed materials will be reachable from every start point.
I doubt the starter points for new player will be in uncomfortable areas.The Planets will have different materials, and the starter receipes will be surely different on each planet.
At least i hope soAs for Tartaros, why there should be lowered resources?
This planet will be fine for each kind of minerals and harsh vegetation.
Demons will know how to use their resources.
Again, the kind of resources will be different of each planet, that will be one of the reasons you will need to get a good working trading connection. -

Willkommen @Nasgul! Wie die Anderen schon schrieben, werden wir eine Lokalisierung haben.
Aber gerade so Spiele wie Fractured benötigen das eigentlich fast gar nicht, da wir hier wahrscheinlich wenig Themenpark ähnliche Aufgaben finden werden, die uns ellenlange Geschichten erzählen.
Das Spiel wird sehr auf das Crafting und Spielerinteraktion angewiesen sein, da es ein Sandboxspiel wird. Und hier werden wir international spielen. Zunächst wird es kaum eine zufriedenstellende Lokalisierung für selbst geschriebene Kommunikation geben, es sei denn, du bewegst dich nur innerhalb der deutschen Community.
Zum Anderen habe ich selbst festgestellt, als ich angefangen habe, international zu spielen, dass es oftmals weitaus hilfreicher ist, das Spiel auf Englisch zu lassen, soweit es denn dein Englischwissen zulässt, da es die Verständigung mit nicht deutsch sprechenden Spielern um Einiges vereinfacht.
Aus meiner eigenen Erfahrung kann ich sagen, dass es gar nicht so schwer ist, sich selbst mit etwas fortgeschrittenerem Alter noch auf eine Fremdsprache einzulassen. Man wächst quasi hinein.
Vor 4 Jahren habe ich meine ersten englischen Gehversuche in Online-Spielen ausschließlich mit einem ständig geöffnetem Google Translator gemacht, mittlerweile rede ich im Voice sogar alltäglichen Smalltalk mit Menschen aus aller Welt. -

@dj35 i do it often too, when i am searching something for an answer, where i want to set some links in it.
Then i am open the search page and the found posts that i want to read in an extra Tab. -

Winning a key was just possible in Pre-Alpha.
But we are still in Alpha 1.
You can get access, if you support the Studio with a Pack from the Store.
For Alpha 1 Access you need to buy at least the Knight Pack. -

For first, there will be no auction house.
At least it is not planned and in my opinion it makes no sense in the whole Fractured idea.But there will be NPC shops that you can have in your town and who will trade your goods.

I think it is caused on the several scripts that the page is running.
There are some for storing your replies/posts, there are some for refreshing post counts, recently posted and notifications.
I guess there are some more that gives us the interactive features.
If i have a bad internet connection i always get a symbol in the right lower corner that is noticing me about.
Thats the reason i guessed about the scripts without really inspecting HTML Life Header.
Some Browser are maybe able to handle multiple tabs with same running scripts, some will not. -
