When the Alpha 1 will start, it will be possible to post around videos and that will bring tons of new players to the game.
Actually there is no real footage of Fractured and everything is just a bunch of infos on a blog/forum. The majority of players don't want to "lose time" reading so video content will hook them up better and faster.

Having some streamers on Twitch playing Fractured will probably be the best way to fire up a spotlight on the game.
Also getting into Steam (on Greenlight maybe?) will probably be the best way to advertise the game to the largest audience possible.

@thwunk I don't think that there will be any kind of reward for Angels and Abominations. They're just a way to switch you Karma and get access to planets that are usually very hard to get on normally because of the heavy debuff they'll put on those with the "wrong" Karma.

I really hope that the situation will revert back, but on today's market such decisions made by such big companies are hardly "casual".
Unity knows that profit come with that kind of serivce and want it for itself, developing its own version of SpatialOS (probably) and preventing any third part to make some money out of it without paying them.

At this point I hope that whatever will come, will be ready fast in order to allow Fractured's team to shift without putting too much delay on the game's release.
If a new opt will not come soon the skyrocketed cost of several servers or the need to restart almost from scratch the development of Fractured will probably be its own demise.

The VIP subscription will provide only cosmetics, so nothing that will give any kind of gameplay advantage.
It was stated by the Devs and it's also specified in the sticky FAQ on this forum's section:

5. What's Fractured's payment model?
Fractured will be buy to play (€30) with an optional VIP subscription (€10/month) and a cash shop, selling cosmetics only. No lootboxes.

On UO you can pay an NPC with a monthly fee to stay into a common market and sell your items (you chose the prices ofc). Other players can just speak to it and see everything it got.
The market is a physical place in town where everybody can go there and manage their merchants while going around and see what the others are selling.

You'll just need to restock your merchants and go in to retrive your gold, but nothing more in terms of management.
Not too invasive nor "outside" of the game itself, like an AH conneted world wide or a forum. I would strongly like something like that instead of a WoW-like AH.

For Humans there is the Lich transformation, that was one of the Kickstarter's stretch goals (already unlocked).
We currently don't have any hints about how you can unlock it, but it'll probably be something pretty long to achieve like Abomination and Angel morphs.

Bouncing around on MHW, HotS, HS, Hollow Knight (I've to fight the 5th Pantheon of Gods&Glory) and Deep Rock Galactic.
Also sometimes I spend few days on playing again Baldur's Gate I & II Enhanced Edition.

I - actually - don't have a pack. I'm thinking on which to buy but there are so little informations around at the moment that is hard to know if the game will be as entertaining as it seems on paper.
I'm a long time online (and offline) player and in time I've burned really tons of money for project that seems worthy but were not in the end.

So I've learned to keep the hype under control and wait before dropping money on something, whatever it is (not that money per se is an issue).
So I'll probably wait the last possible few days before buying a pledge pack.

Exploration seems a good focus considering what we actually know about the game. But, imho, we should wait and see how the real gameplay will be (in terms of PvP, PvE and economic management) before decide to what devote ourself.

I already have a small bunch of friend to play Fractured so we really hope to find some good content for 4-6 people around, on top of some bigger events that will give use the mean to join a guild or found our one.

I usually play 2-4 hours almost everyday in the evening, after work and dinner. But what I play depends on how I'm engaged with a game: I could play only a title for months (or years) if I'm having really fun with it.
