RE: hi everyone , im a new player , how can i solve this proplem
Welcome to Fractured!
I hope you're going to enjoy your time here and don't get struck by too many more errors.
Are you starting the game as administrator? What operating system are you using?
You might want to issue a complete bug report in the respective forum. -

Could you elaborate on what you define as ideal core gameplay?
And do you happen to have a link with that statement by the developers?
Thanks in advance -

I'd rather they focus on features and functionality now and implement content later. Yes, a certain amount of content is required for testing to appease the volunteer testers, but there's still plenty of big features to be implemented and that's going to require considerable effort and time.
Especially things like races and interplanetary travel are going to turn the 'balance' and 'gameplay-feeling' upside down, so it's better to have them early in development. -
RE: Hi, hello
Welcome to Fractured!
I hope you're going to enjoy your time hereJust one advice? Tough question.
Depending on how many real alpha tests you've done, my main advice would be to keep in mind you're testing a game in alpha, most unlike the 'early access' games people usually play. There's plenty of features still missing, the skills/abilities/attributes/monsters/... aren't 'balanced' yet and you shouldn't try to play massive amounts of time, risking burnout. -

I suppose that would move smelting to private plots anyway, since noone would be interested in the risk of stuff getting stolen by a passerby.I'd be willing to bet a considerable amount of smelted metal that there would be a good amount of people who actually not only create public smelting/tanning stations in cities, but who would put in something to process. Then simply wait for the next 'newbie' to pass by, see the 'free stuff', grab it, be flagged for PvP and 'ganked' by the group who was waiting nearby

@Logain but still you could have a situation where every city is taken and full(...)
As much as I would hope for this scenario and would applaud the developers for such a successful game, I doubt they are going to attract enough players that are constantly maintaining their property. Have you calculated how many active players are required to fill up every city on every continent on every planet on every sever?
What I could imagine is an inequality based on planets. -

(...)Unless I missed something, it seems like newer guilds that miss the land grab but have the manpower to take over cities won't be able to siege if they don't have access to a cities tech tree(...)
I'm not sure if any of that has changed, but as far as I remember, the plan was for the governor/mayor of a region/city to be voted. A guild/group with enough manpower could simply claim enough space, to get enough votes to install their own leader.

RE: Tech Tree, Marketplace & Money For Dynamight
Congratulations on the GTR partnership!
I'm glad you're not trying to overextend and instead stay on the save, financially stable terrain.
Good luck on the evil city conquest mechanics that you're currently struggling with, take your time, as long as you let people know, I'm sure they are content with waiting a little longer for a good result instead of getting something wonky rushed out -

@Bierbaron no news about it as far as I could see(...)
That's something they should learn to address someday. Provide easy to spot information on your own webpage. A simple 'we're still working on the siege system and need a bit more time, but we're going to keep you updated on the situation' doesn't require much effort but helps to answer such questions.

I think we could settle for the initial design journals and advertising left a lot of room for interpretation? And even later down the line, things could easily be misinterpreted. Only dynamite studios knows what they had in mind in the beginning.

@GamerSeuss said in First Impressions on the new City System:
(...)In the original press releases (Kickstarter overviews) (...)
So, basically, the Demon World = 100% PvP, little to no safezones whatsoever (except maybe the 2 starting cities per continent)
the Beastmen World = 100% Safe, no PvP anywhere, or very very small 'Arena' style zones, and special Invasion Events being the only break from the norm.
and the Human world should then = about 50% PvP. Much of the actual wilderness is a PvP area, but more civilized areas like established towns would be safe zones (as it is currently being proposed).
(...)Sorry, but do you happen to have a link to that? I was around for longer than the Kickstarter and I don't recall them making a claim that mentioned 50% of the Human planet would be a safe zone. I read the initial first design journal and it talks about human having free will and there being consequences to actions. Yes, humans have laws and if you don't abide to them, you risk being hunted down, cast out of the community (village) or whatever other punishment the law intends. But it didn't mention there being a massive non PvP area, because that basically means you don't have a free will.
