    • RE: Dexterity giving speed bonus might be an issue

It's a test, which means, if it turns out bad, it is easily fixed by going back to no bonus. If it turns out to work well (as @Freas implied, improving one aspect of your build makes another suffer as it should be), it can be tweaked and worked on further. That's why you have tests after all? 😉
Just try it and AFTER you tried it, there's ample time to discuss it all day long 😛

    • RE: Alpha 2 - Test 3 Launch Day Revealed

Looking forward to the test, seems like you spent a good time on balancing already, so that's a double edged sword for me. On one hand it increases player participation and likelihood of people spending more on a pledge for the game, but at the other hand it's time that could be spent finishing the development of more features and balancing has to happen at the end of development anyway.

    • RE: What are you looking forward to/hoping to see in A2T3?

City building, not because I am active in that regards, but because I am curious on how it's going to impact performance and gameplay for people who aren't going to settle at a city, more specifically, how the 'next remote location' to a point of interest is going to influence people's experience.

    • RE: How Would A Demon Gain Karma?

@Razvan said in How Would A Demon Gain Karma?:

(...)I would like to hear your argument as to why should there be a balance between gaining and losing karma(...)

I think you misunderstood my point. I agree with you on what Karma is and should do, but since Beastman need to gain negative Karma (easy, just go and kill 'good' people), and Demons need to gain positive Karma (can't just go and kill 'bad' people) in order to transform, there needs to be some form of balance mechanics to mitigate the additional difficulty for a Demon to transfer.

(...)Usually, it is a lot easier/faster to lose karma than to gain it(...)

The question would be, if it's easy to transfer towards one extreme and difficult for the other, where would be the balance? And there should be balance in a game (at least some sort of balance, it doesn't have to mean 'equal').

How many slots did a large/small city provide again? And can more people than the number of possible slots sign up for a city on the website?

@romandav said in May 2020 Playtest Review:

(...) a weekly video teaser, which would take nothing to do(...)

I fear you're massively underestimating the time required to create even a short weekly video content. That time's much, much better spent at developing the game right now and setting a stable, performing base to build on (in my humble opinion), as in the end, we're all here to play a good game.
