I agree with what some others have said in the thread. Be cautious at this point in time when it comes to creating 'hype'. Wait till you have something that can be shared without problems. Once Alpha 1 hits, the first few videos are going to be inevitable, but the real featured footage of the game shouldn't be before Alpha 2.
Greetings and welcome to Fractured!
Pity, for a second I thought the 'Hello World' would be a programming related PUN
It has been as I expected it. A few delays here and there, the news posts could come faster, but all in all very positive compared to other projects of that kind.
Fractured is (or seems to be) centered around the idea of horizontal progression. You won't level up, or get much stronger, instead, you gain diversity. With that in mind, and the fact that you gain knowledge/unlock new abilities by fighting different creatures (but a low amount of time) and exploring, each fight has to be more meaningful then the usual 'grind them by the thousands'.
Does that help you in some way?
Great post and news!
Keep rolling!

That's their standard procedure, the 'foundation quest' usually appears days before the news posting (don't ask me why ).
@Solaris said in Post Kickstarter Funding is Going Well:
Only days away from Enhanced Character Creation Stretch Goal being reached!
I respectfully disagree.
We are one decent news posting away from the stretch goal. Without it, at the current pace, we are still a few weeks away (~€500 in the last 16 days progress and ~€700 away).
I'd say nothing is clear or even fixed at at this point in development. If something doesn't work out it is still enough time to change it. That said, my humble assumption is a rather short leash, since 'knowledge' is the main indicator of what be 'leveling up' in other games. And you could abuse luring creatures to single them out for easy gain of knowledge points.

For that reason, it might be best to link the complete news bog instead, since it makes sure to point out exactly that level of uncertainty for that prediction.
Gosh regulations for games are really getting extensive these days.
Welcome to fractured!
And thumbs up @Eurav for answering his question!

Then again in that kind of game you are supposed to walk through hordes of enemies time and again to 'grind for your gear', which is opposed to the concept of fewer, but more meaningful encounters and no grind in Fractured, isn't it?
Welcome to Fractured, I hope you're going to enjoy your time here!

Out of curiosity, what would you have done in their situation?
Let's hope it was the last long downtime of the forum! Good to be back and let's look forward to what's up in the line for development.
Looks like high time for a news post explaining and detailing the resolved situation and the future strategy (together with the forum downtime) to instill confidence for the customers again. Considering that funding increased by a whooping €20 in the last 6 days
