I guess that soon as we have Alpha 1 footage, funds are going to come in at a way faster pace! It's a pity it likely won't happen before 2019, so it wouldn't count to the funding process

No, I meant features (like... different battle mechanics).

RE: Sprays
That's a nightmare to 'moderate' in MMOs, I hope they are going to use their resources for other things, which benefit more players at a lower cost.

RE: How can i enter the pre alpha?
And even more importantly, we need continued funding to help the developers create the game they want to! Progress is the one thing to convince people to contribute financially to a game once the 'main hype' is over.

In my opinion it would be good if they announced the beginning of the pre-alpha, probably for some who are already guaranteed it does not matter, but I'm sure that for those who can not participate, the announcement the beginning of the pre Alpha is worth a lot.
It matters to everybody, even the people who are going to participate in it. Since it is a public signal of progress, which is incredibly important for a company that requires community funding.

I like the graphics, thanks.
But some of this is very, very small. Do they scale, or is that what we'd see in game? -

It's confirmed for this month but it's not time yet, don't go crazy
Also, participants will be asked not to disclose the fact they've been included in the pre-alpha, so it's pointless to ask around
If I may provide an humble advice, publicly announce that pre-alpha started though after sending the first few keys.
People want to have a sense of 'progress'. Even if they are not included and won't get a key themselves, they know there is progress and things are coming along as planned. -

(...)However, players will be able to put their own products on market stands. So what you wish here can easily work, just instead of NPC sellers, players will be sellers.
Bunch of players agree on location, bring their own stuff, put stands, and sell. Even better then NPCs, more lively.
That's the spirit!
I wish I could give you more than one like
I am like many in this thread, against NPCs doing it, but I am fully in favor or players organizing special events. -

discord is the worst method because the search is limited and it's impossible to provide proper feedback for the team to look review later.
Yes, I wholeheartedly agree, Discord shouldn't be used to report issues. That said, it makes for a great tool to gather the required assistance for testing something.

(...)3- Will it be a test-roadmap for players to check, like server-charge : multiple log on/off, cutting a forest down, launching all fireball at once (fx crash), researching inventory bug/exploit... with return of experience (on discord ?). Or players will be in free move and all they do will be tracked for further analysis ?
@specter said in About Pre-alpha disclosure ?:
@gofrit The pre-alpha will be under an NDA. You will not be allowed to talk about or share anything from the pre-alpha(...)
Does that mean if we want to do 'coordinated testing efforts', we'd have to resort to in game communication, or would there be a restricted Discord channel set up for this? And are you going to have a separate hidden forum section with 'instructions' on what has been reported and what could need attention?

RE: 4th planet of angelics: harsh PVE, banned PVP.
@mae said in 4th planet of angelics: harsh PVE, banned PVP.:
(...)And you can't vote against it because it doesn't affect you(...)
As I tried to explain, economy is global, since you can traverse from one planet to another while carrying items. That means any higher influx of items (which is inevitable from a PvE only planet) automatically reduces revenue (offer and demand). Hence, yes, everybody is seeing an effect on their gameplay.
@mae said in 4th planet of angelics: harsh PVE, banned PVP.:
(...)To solve that there, and here too. players must select permanent alignment before any voting(...)That severely contradicts one of the core mechanics of the game.
-
RE: 4th planet of angelics: harsh PVE, banned PVP.
You should add an option to vote against your suggestion, if there is to be a poll?
As for not 'impacting the other three MMOs', that's certainly not correct, since both players and items can traverse between the three planets. Hence the whole economy is greatly influenced if you'd add another 'system'.If I could, I'd vote no.
