      The concept of three different races with three different playstyles in a sandbox was interesting to me (since it's something I had planned for a game), in combination with no grinding, and interesting MOBA-like battles.

      I'm very much the same there. In my first MMORPG ever, I had a group of dedicated friends and we managed to get to spots that nobody else had ever seen.       It depends if you want to go for symmetric or asymmetric balance. Since skills are supposed to be highly situational in Fractured, you don't need symmetric balance (and Prometheus even mentioned that in the Q&A video, by stating that one build could easily beat another under certain circumstances), it is enough if they balance out in the great scheme.

    • Is Fractured already GDPR compliant, and if not is it going to slow down development?

      Since the timeline for the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is nearing an end, I wonder if that's a topic for Fractured and if it would have impact on development.

      And Beastman/Demons have subcategories, namely Chadra (tiger-kin), Udoadra (wolf-kin), Nheedra (bear-kin), Erwydra (hart-kin) for Beastman and Blood demons (vampires), Shadow demons (nightmares) and Hellfire demons (infernals) for Demons.

      Personally, I'd love to have 'passive' abilities as well, though I'm not sure how well they would blend in with the idea to limit your 'active' hotbar through intelligence.

      I don't think there's a direct correlation between people able to test (being willing to do something doesn't ensure you're good at doing something) and the money people invest. That said, there is a benefit to 'having an entry barrier', namely when you want your testing to be under NDA (because people who invested are more willing to 'forgive' in the beginning of development and less likely to wager with their investment by breaking the NDA).

      I think the developers are planning a smart move by polling their existing community, because based on these replies, they can get a rough estimate of a maximum profit (best price to amount ratio).

      First of all, thank you very much for taking the time to answer questions, much appreciated!

      Since PvP players are usually competitive and thus min-maxing, what is their incentive to play as Demons, when even though there is only minimal vertical progress, there still is some (stat points though knowledge and bonus effects through knowledge) and Demons lose in that aspect (Demons can not enter all areas and thus can not gain all knowledge, thus lacking some bonus stat points, whereas all other races can max out | Demons have a harder time progressing in a hostile environment compared to a Beastman with similar playtime, again leaving the Beastman stronger)?
